Who thought that maps like Scavenger is ok for BTB? Where are the dev maps? Why every map is made by Forge? Yes some maps are grear such as Aspin but we need dev maps too. And scratch most of the maps in playlists and give us better maps and hopefully some of them are dev maps.
What are your thoughts?
Will never happen m8. If you don’t remember they tried to replace BTB with warzone but then added it later on. Plus a large portion of reach BTB maps were forged.
Chances of them creating dev-made BTB maps is gonna be pretty slim. I think we’re better off advocating this for Halo 6.
I like the btb maps except for dispelled I think it’s too big. I don’t really play btb much any more cause I get dispelled far too much.
Also cause I don’t feel a lot of playlist are open to new or rusty players I get so put of playing certain playlists.
Honestly don’t think it’s going to happen. BTB has been ditched for WZ.
Personally I really like most of the forge maps, and think it gives players a reason to forge more often. Getting the community involved more is what we need.
Reuse old reach and halo three maps.

When I first started playing BTB, I did not like Dispelled as well. I enjoy it now, it’s grown on me. You should jump into BTB and give it another shot! Hit me up if you want to play.

BTB was never intended to be replaced with WZ.
BUT YES, BTB was always intended to be supported by Forge for maps and by the community.
There is an issue with frame-rate stability, sadly nothing new to BTB.
Nothing wrong with forge maps being made by forge. Just matters on how they play. Why do you want dev make? Care to give a reason besides aesthetics? I’d take great playing forge maps over pretty dev maps that play like -Yoink- Aka majority if H5.
People are going to have to be willing to compromise with downsizing Warzone then… 8v8 PvE on dev-made BTB maps for Halo 6…
Then classic BTB can be played on the same maps as well, without the WZ traits and assets. WZ would also benefit in not having reused assets/capture points/bases…
Thing is, I don’t see this as a compromise at all… I see it as being ideal and effective game design. No more massive community devides in separate content for separate MP modules. Maps would be able to be used in both modes, and a more traditional and creative design language could be used rather than just rehashing/remixing maps for the lifecycle of the game.

A Big Team Battle map that is too Big…I highly recommend you stay away from any BTB maps from prior games.

It’s kind of annoying that a lot of the objects are bland blocky shapes / colors. That being said, it’s not enough for me to hate on it; I love BTB.

It’s cause of the snipers there is too much open space. I don’t remember old btb maps being that big.

Blood Gulch, Sandtrap, Valhalla, Waterworks just to name a few are bigger then Dispelled. They also have snipers and are open maps.

Then you obviously havent played enough Halo. Many if not most of the BTB maps were large in older Halos, some just seemed smaller cause they had more hallways. The only difference between now and then is with the new abilities we can get around faster and vehicles are almost a non factor in some cases.
