I currently have all the noble teams armor pieces in reach. The amount of time and effort I put into getting them was unbearable. Was it worth it in the end?No. Why you may ask? Because in order for me to get Emiles shoulder peice I had to spend 270,000 cr to get it and I didn’t get to use his knife. Then when I got Jorge’s Chest piece I at least expected his backpack to be attach. But it wasn’t. Jun the first full character I unlocked didn’t even have his satchel on his back that also made me disappointed. Tell me 343 how come modders get access to these armor pieces and we don’t? All i’m saying is for the people who actually grind to get these items should be rewarded for their time actually playing the game not just going on the computer and modding. And if you don’t believe that I grinded? Look at my service record in reach im wearing emiles armor right now. Just please all I ask is for their armor that’s all.-dderby22
Modders get access to them because what they are doing is illegal and gets them banned. Besides, Halo: Reach is almost ten years old. 343i isn’t going to go back to it and put new armour variants in the armoury. That would be a huge waste of time.
Sorry. They Cant.

Well if they don’t have the “time” to add armor then explain to me why they added the same amour pretty much to halo 5 without a problem. Yet again they butchered in my opinion the armor i’m not asking for much just something new like for instance in the halo 2 anniversary they added different armor vibrants to the game so why cant they do it again?

They added the Memories of Reach pack to Halo 5: Guardians because it is the latest Halo FPS game and it was released at a time when Halo 5: Guardians had a bigger playerbase.
I have already said why they won’t do it. Halo: Reach is almost ten years old with hardly any people playing it. The game just isn’t supported any more. 343i are not going to add new content while they are working on Halo: Infinite, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and have a very small team for Halo 5: Guardians.

When was the last time you actually played reach for one because its player base for a 10 year old game isn’t small. 2. Halo:Reach is becoming a part of MCC. And if the game wasn’t supported anymore the servers would be down.

It is certainly small compared to what it used to be. That doesn’t mean that 343i are going to add anything new though. If they stopped adding new content to their latest Halo FPS game, they most certainly won’t do it for a game a decade old.
The Halo: Reach that is coming to Halo: The Master Chief Collection is different. It isn’t a simple copy-and-paste job as many people believe, that is why it is taking so long. I know it is coming to Halo: The Master Chief Collection which is why I listed the game among the few that 343i are currently working on, so I am not sure what your point there was.
As for what you say about the servers, that isn’t true. Servers for a game can still be up and running but not get support. For instance, why do you think the servers are constantly having issues connecting players? Failing to load content? The Waypoint armour being apparently locked again for many players? You need to only look at the Legacy Support forums to realise that the Legacy games are having a ton of issues due to lack of support.
Something like what you are suggesting would require a title update to the game in order to work. Title updates for 360 games require a lot of work and that is resources that 343 just doesn’t have spare. Not only that but I don’t believe any 360 games are updated or go through certification any longer. Backwards compatible games may see updates on the Xbox One, but that is purely updates to the emulator made by the Xbox team and doesn’t touch game code.
343 did try to add additional armor DLC into Reach in a title update years ago (GRD), but Reach just wan’t designed in a way that would let that work and they had to wait until Halo 4 to do it. You could potentially ask it as a feature request for Reach in MCC / MCC PC, but they likely wouldn’t look at it until all the games have launched.

My point with the MCC is basically remastering reach like for instance if you have seen videos of people playing halo reach on pc youll see that the graphics have not only improved but the gameplay now runs smoother and since reach will be added to mcc it will be supported and I guarantee that the players online will be double the amount halo 5 has now. Halo reach apon launch had allot of players and i men allot and the waypoint armor issues you speak of ive had no issues with that my armor carried over from my 360 to my one perfectly fine so idk where that came from. unless its just people who are trying to get the devs to give them the armor so they dont have to earn it. BTW just saying i’m not creating any arguments or trying to prove a point here its not that hard if those fricken modders can do it why cant they? and ik they only have a tiny team working on reach but cant they just add new armor i mean honestly after general you unlock no new armor all the way up to inheritor and then you only unlock the haunted pilot variant. And yes i know that won only be allot of coding but also allot of art work two and basically redoing ever cutscene on the game. I’ve played reach for a long time sure maybe not ever day but whenever i feel i need it…reach in my opinion is one of the best halo games and bungie’s last halo game and it was great the firefight,Campaign and matchmaking were all great sure its old and it may have some connection issues here and there but its stil running good for legacy and if a task was possible i would be very happy. And again not trying to argue with you just providing my point.

There isn’t anything illegal about modding video games, my friend. I’m not sure who told you that, but you can’t get locked up for adding access to armor pieces in a video game.

It may not be illegal but it isnt fair to those who follow the rules and cannot achieve it.

Then build a PC and make those armor sets available in multiplayer once Halo: The Master Chief Collection comes to the platform. You don’t get locked out of your thousands of dollars in purchases just for changing the color of your gun on PC.

Who mentioned microtransactions? You get locked out of Xbox Live if you mod/hack your games, so you lose access to the online functions of those games and your console.

You do realize that you have to pay for those games and that console, right? And that being locked out of those online features locks you out of content you paid for? This isn’t difficult to understand.
I also don’t have the technical knowledge to mod/hack myself, but I’ve downloaded stuff like the Dreamcast Conversion mod for the PC release of Sonic Adventure that makes it represent the Dreamcast version of the game better. Are you implying that I’m a bad person for wanting those original character models and better collision detection?

No im not saying your a bad person you were just making it seem that you do mod. All I want is to have the real noble team armor awarded to those who have reached passed general for instance its pretty boring to rank up and unlock nothing isnt it? For example say you reached the rank of noble and you unlock emiles red security shoulder piece and an exclusive assassination. something ike that not only to add some customization but also gives you something to work for thats why im not inheritor because i dont see it being worth my time thats why im general grade 4. Some system like that.
