Mark V Alpha sucks. Nothing new there.
I think anyone who bought the Arena REQ Bundle, even those who got it 50% off on Amazon (like me) can’t help but feel a bit of buyer’s remorse over the Bundle mostly because of the Mark V Alpha armor; unless of course you got something really, really good from RNG.
343i needs to make up for this. Remember the Mark V armor from Halo 4? Based on the Chief’s armor from Halo: CE Anniversary? They should bring that back… better yet, give it to everyone who bought the Arena REQ Bundle as a free unlock. That would be so awesome, and more than make up for the visual atrocity that is Mark V Alpha.
I also wouldn’t say no to the other Champions DLC armor- ODST and Prefect- being added to Halo 5’s loot table for REQ packs. But the Mark V Anniversary armor should come first. Discuss.
I would love to see that. Heck they should give it to you if your account shows you played that game during the first 6 months it was released:)
You know what they should do something like that. Account check to see if you play halo games during first 6-12 months from release. To give thise that have stuck with halo all these years something.
Yes I know tons of people will complain. So maybe have them in 5 dollar bundles or X amount req points? As an alternative way? But those that pass the check get it free?

Ive stuck with halo since the beginning but have not bought the anniversaries. How are they gonna check me?
The armour for Mark V Alpha was okay, but the helmet was… uhh… yeah…
well I unlocked only legendary visual with the bundle, so I don’t really regret it. Alpha still sucks tho, but I’m never gonna wear it anyways and we do have a well done mark IV.
Definitely agree, I want the real Mk V back… same for Mk IV, but it’s issues are so small I won’t even bring them up.

I just unlocked the Mark V Reflex yesterday, but I was disappointed when I remembered what the helmet looked like.

MK.IV is pretty close to MK. V though… (OAO)
NOT that bubbly ODST crap from Halo 4. I want my sleek and -Yoink!- looking ODST armor/helm from Halo 3:ODST and somewhat of Reach. (Not the multiplayer armor)

Love the MK V Alpha, with the exception of those Lady GaGa shoulders. It’s the only thing keeping me from wearing the full set.
I think the Halo 5 Mark V is closer in terms of the body, they just need to give it the belt from the Halo 4 Mark V, and make the shoulders slightly less pronounced.
As far as the helmet goes, I think Halo 4 was a bit closer, but sometimes I wish they would just slap the Halo CEA helmet on it and make do.
But then again, why can’t they just use all of the CEA armour? duh!
Wouldn’t mind armour unlocking from achievements again.
Hell with backwards compatibility achievements from previous unlocking armour. Like the upcoming Memories of Reach, Emile’s, Jorge’s and Jun’s could be unlocked from playing Reach. Just as an example.

Kinda hoping they do that instead of making all the Noble Team armor Mythic REQs that can only be unlocked through RNG. That would pretty much kill Memories of Reach, even if they add some seriously good stuff like the Falcon and Grenade Launcher (which would likely be Ultra-Rare to Mythic as well).

The Halo 4 version looks cleaner than the busy kibble armor from 3 and reach. I like the clean armor and crips wide, round visor

Hell yes. I’ve seen that picture before on DeviantArt, it looks perfect. Tekka Croe’s design is flawless.
They have the model from the Halo 4 Files in one of their computers somewhere. They know we want it. They’re going to make us beg tho.
I think the two current Mark V helmet variants looks like you have whiskers, and the two current Mark V armor makes you look fat.
P.S. They shoulder pads look awful.
