Give us a sign that you're listening 343i

Please show us that you are actually listening to the community’s desires for Halo 5. I recognize that you can’t please everyone, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying.

So 343 removed Loadouts, Perks, Ordnance, Flinch and Armor Abilities for nothing?

Return to Arena gameplay, reworking Sprint, spectator mode, skill ranking, holding a beta…

Pretty sure they’re listening.

gotta go with jengu and darkslayer on this one. currently i’m stoked for halo 5, i was skeptical about some things but the more gameplay i watch the more that skepticism just turns to excitement.

They already have shown they are listening.

Hard to say. We still have abilities, well we asked for it to be less like CoD but at same time we got stuff like perks removed it seems. I’ll wait on the beta or final game to decide if they actually listened.

Man, Halo 2 must have been copying Call of Duty before Call of Duty even implemented its now famous features with that dual-wielding and vehicle boarding ability. Can’t believe Bungie sunk so low before such things even existed!

343 is listening. They are making Halo 5 a competitive game with a modern spin to it. Look, I was against 343 for modernizing Halo because it wasn’t needed. It is true, it doesn’t need it but 343 wanted to give the fans something more. If 343 really wanted to, they could have been greedy and just reskinned any previous Halo game with a few tweaks. But no. They gave us something that was competitive and that gave us a next-gen shooter game. Halo doesn’t need to modernize to grow. Sales show it was never neded. Halo isn’t outdated. I know how everyone that is against this modern feeling feels because I use to feel the same. Think of it this way, 343 is making a stronger idea of how amazing Spartans can be. If you ever read the novels, Spartans can almost do anything. They can run 60 mph, tackle enemies bigger than them to the ground, flip over a tank, and etc. Of course this is leading to canon. I know, people say make the story canon and keep canon away from my multiplayer. I feel the same because it removed the Elites. But guess what, 343 is listening to us. They gave us the Master Chief collection (which failed because of netcode issue.) Besides the issues, if it were to be fixed, it would be the best game ever. The point is 343 is trying to give a little modern spin to Halo because they want to show how awsome Spartans can be, how generous they can be, and to attract more customers so they see how amazing Halo is compared to COD and Battlefield. Don’t judge the game until you play it. Remember, it sometimes takes more than a few matches to like Halo 5. Thanks for reading and thank you 343 for listening to the fans and for making Halo more amazing than it already is. Thank you for reading and have a nice day. (343 bring Elites back to multiplayer to make this game much better and to please us Elite fans.)

The boosting around really isn’t a CoD mechanic. It’s as completely new to them as it is too us, but it seems both games decided to change up their movement systems around the same time.

I meant that they should show us that they are listening before, during, and after the beta.

I absolutely love how halo 5 feels like halo, but of course, with some exceptions. When 343 introduced call outs and the spectator that feeds you information, I was saddened. The very reason why I love Halo and nearly despise Call of duty is because Halo brought a new type of combat. It’s futuristic, fun, competitive, but the callouts make me feel like I am not a spartan. I require actual assistance from an AI other than a human being, so it just brings a feeling of minority. Spartans are noble fighters (but still can have some fun! and I hope that 343 can grasp that.

Well, I’m sure when in actual combat the Spartans would communicate with each other and given the S-IVs are normal people, it would make sense they may be more chatty than the stoic S-IIs. Doesn’t really make Chatter fully acceptable, but it makes sense in a certain context. I only think 343 bothered to add it in because of all the complaints about how nobody talks anymore and nothing they do is really going to change that.

Give us a sign that you are not ignorant about the good changes 343i has made to halo 5 to bring halo back to it’s roots. They DID listen. They recognized that halo 4 was not a good halo game. And they fixed alot of things. So can the dumb people please just shut up?

I realize that 343i has already listened, but that’s not to say there isn’t more they can improve on for Halo 5.
