It’s not incorrect. Nearly all Prime access items can be earned by playing and grinding for them too. You do not have to buy them with money. Even Tennogen items can be bought with platinum that was traded for and not bought.
As stated, I think the Warframe free to play model is excellent and I would have no issue with Halo doing the same. You’re right, Warframe does not give away free platinum. But it is a fact that the game allows you to earn it.
Edit… Also, the current Harrow Prime pack gives you 2600 + platinum with the Warframe and other content. That’s about £110.00 worth of platinum for less than £70.00

You know what can’t be earned? The glyphs, syandanas, suits, or armor attachments. Half the items cannot be earned each time there’s a prime access. Everything in the “Prime accessories” pack is a premium purchase only.
You must only be familiar with Warframe on console, because PC players absolutely cannot buy Tennogen items with Platinum. They must be purchase with funds from the Steam Wallet.

It’s not a sales pitch. It was to state that Warframe has excellent options to obtain platinum. I replied to your comment about Warframe not giving away free platinum.
I replied because whilst it’s an accurate statement I felt I could add more. I added that players can play Warframe and earn platinum without buying it themselves, That is accurate too.
I also stated that I liked Warframe’s in game economy and that I would be ok if Halo did the same. The replies have got bloated with nit picking. Warframe can be played without real world money.
I think 343i could take a leaf out of Digital Extremes book, they’ve done an excellent job imo.
Edit… Missed your PC reply. Correct, I play on console, Warframe through Steam might charge for tennogen, but store on Xbox allows purchase with platinum.
Yes, there are certain prime items that are exclusive like glyphs. But, on Xbox you can buy many other glyphs, syandanas etc with platinum, so free players do have options. Despite having in excess of 3100 hours in Warframe I have not played in a while.
To be honest, the main issues I have are just the lack of content and the fact I’ve been earning xp for the last month or two which gives me….nothing.
Literally any other popular free to play game has done progression better. There needs to be both a premium tier of unlocks and a free tier of unlocks outside of the battlepass.

Honestly I think they need to scrap season 2 battle pass and release those 100+ cosmetic items they had ready to go at the start of March, into the game immediately.
I think the seasonal free to play model has largely failed. They are under staffed and behind on every aspect of the game. Heck, they can’t even seem to provide regular weekly updates on what’s being done behind the scenes.
So I suggest they scrap the season 2 battle pass for May and introduce as much of that content into the game for free now. Have some extra challenges or something added in akin to the event battle passes, to give us something new to unlock and play for.
While they sort their plan out for the game going forward.
Unlocking a swap per x amount of challenges completed could be interesting. Even moreso if it’s limited to challenges that weren’t swapped. Or maybe the capstone gives the weekly reward as well as a swap or two/some credits. At least people not motivated by the item might still play for the credits or something.
let them plan how their going to do things is best if we want them to get ready content and a reasonable rate we cant just get greedy for season 2 now just cause its a month away that will just leave them rushing things for the next some of content
