Halo from what I hear (forums) lacks content, flagship title grade visuals, good plot execution and direction and ,most of all, links to classic halo. I believe these can be solved. I also believe F*** Microsoft (they probably won’t let this happen)

Lack of content.
The game needs a longer dev cycle which means bigger budget is needed. Since MS has and is cashing in on the Windows 10 goldmine I believe they have the resources. A longer dev cycle with an adequate budget will solve content issues. I’d say 5 years should be enough. A remaster by a hired company with the NETCODE ported from a previous halo would require far fewer resources and coupled with a spinoff ie hw2 could fill the gap between main installments. Therefore I believe that a longer dev cycle will be good, spinoffs and remasters can fill space during that time and the community can be patient 2 get a better product.

Visuals.
Project Scorpio. Also dear Bonnie Ross u work for MS so pls put a NVidia gtx 1080 ,not too costly (RELATIVELY) in xbox scorpio so it runs at 9 terraflops not 6 so as 2 ensure it competes with its competition (ps4k? high end pcs) and doesn’t end up underpowered like the xbox one. after all power is being prioritied for project scorpio right?

fire reed rehire staten ( who works fr MS studios ie Recore) or get them 2 work 2gether. Campaign beta 3 years into dev cycle for small group of halo vets, newbies and pros
4.remasters would keep classic halo available and/or polls on what mechanics the community wants. also 5 year dev cycle allows for 2 or even 3 betas.
I hope you all agree and fyi I hav no knowledge what so ever about anything regarding game dev so don’t roast me if u disagree just bring me up to ur level of knowledge.

I’d go with Cryengine or Unreal. I think they would suite Halo better.

no I meant 2 say I’m using my common sense but if I said something fundamentally wrong (like idk remasters needing less resources?) then please forgive that for stated reason.

Okay, I see now. Sorry dude, I read and understood it wrong.
The Scorpio is projected to have a gpu that is around the same speed between a 970 and 980 so that in itself is plenty, besides, console gpus are typically powered my AMD chips anyway

If you want to be paying over a grand for a console then ya go this route, but consoles were never meant to be the super duper pricey gaming platform. Heck id be surprised if its lower then 800 with the amount of power it will have. The amount of money they would have to put in to make the console would not out weight the lower price consoles need to have to survive. So your 1080 hopes would never happen, at least not anytime soon.

2. I’m saving for the scorpio already but will only buy it if its 4k 60fps and no low res textures. I wont however spend more than $1100. If it costs more I’m gonna start building a pc. I’m planning longterm I wanna game fr at least 15 more years still I’m 30 so …

I’ll at least agree with a longer Dev cycle. How long has it taken us to get all the Core Content that should have been packaged at launch?
Yeah we didn’t have to shell out more money for core content, but we all still had to sit around and wait. And we still don’t have every last scrap of it.
