Just a quick observation, but while going through the playlist to check population dispersal as I often do, I know Im sick, I noticed something that I thought was a feature that should be extended to the Grifball playlist.

Like MLG the website for Grifball should be posted in the playlist heading, they are a highly dedicated subset of the Halo population and rarely ever make an appearance on these or other forums besides their own. I imagine this would take very little time or effort and would most likely go a long way to support those guys =)

Yeah but that’d be like having a member of the Tea Party speak during the presidential debate on CNN with the democrats and the republicans. Sure there’s a following, but they just can’t be taken seriously.

Except the Grifballers have a highly dedicated and loyal following and honestly the rest of us would feel zero effect if what I asked for was implemented. We need not take them seriously in order to perpetuate and help a dedicated set of Halo fans and if I might add, I have never met a player of that game who comes off as arrogant or disrespectful as others on forums, a fine quality indeed.

As to your political parallel, Im going to assume you are fairly young and thusly I shall offer up some advice that will serve you well when determining validity in politics. Good ideas and reason are not the providence of a particular party, they ring clearly through all impediments. To assume that someone does not have a valid point because they are a Democrat, Republican, Tea party or 99%er is about as foolish as assuming a person is of lesser quality because of nationality, religion, race or gender, stop the hate child.

I wouldn’t mind them having a spot on here. Would it be in the Reach section or in Matchmaking? And should it just be a stickied thread that can encompass all Grifball related discussions? This is a good idea. It would be a good place to see what’s happening in the world of Grifball. Then Halo Waypoint really would be the centre hub for all things Halo.

While we are at it, we should also create a stickied thread for MLG as well. That way, there can be representatives of that community who are “in charge” of that thread and can relay ideas, questions, or concerns to MLG. I recently joined their forums after watching Cbus and they are very welcoming, definitely not like the “typical MLG guy”.

What I was speaking about is when you are looking through the playlist and you are looking at MLG, there is a prompt directing you to the MLG.com website, I believe Grifball should have the same.

I had not thought about that, but that is a great idea, seriously why not?

The Columbus event should show the kind of traffic they bring and it just seems fitting that they have a home here.

I watched too, was kinda cool and I enjoyed watching the gameplay, am I the only one who thinks Walshy needs a little more practice commentating LOL?
