I don’t see why they didn’t enable a setting for people who play competitively to not join games late.
Ussually when you join games late you are losing and/or the game is almost over

It can be disorienting joining games not knowing whats going on, and very annoying.
Its not all bad seeing as though when im down a few players on my team, people can join and help but…
Options are always good
why not let casual players who just want to get in and shoot up stuff join late since they don’t care.
Doesn’t even speed up the process of finding matches imo

The issue with that option is everyone will most likely turn it on. This will lead to no one joining in progress games. This leads to the exact issue that join-in-progress was implemented to counter, being that a team is severely penalized for the rest of the match due to someone leaving since they’ll be a team mate down.
I’m a casual player but I enjoy winning the games. And those of us who want War Master Primal need to win KotH games.

ban the first quitter for 10 minutes if they have a good connection and they try to search for another match. problem solved
