I dont know if 343 can do anything about this but i hope so. I have been playing H2a playlist and i got to rank 8, but all of the sudden when i was looking for a match and backed out to restart the search i was rank 1… I would be really happy if 343 could give me back my rank.
343 is busy on their yacht trip drinking Dom Perignon and eating filet mignon. They’ll get back to you when they can.
They reset the rank due to the server issues they were having yesterday.

This isn’t going to happen. The ranking is unfair as because of the bugs for people having to back out of games or uneven teams being setup. It has been stated that ranks will be reset during and once all bug fixes are complete.
Also from experience rank 8 isn’t that high and can be acquired pretty easy once everything is fully functional.

You are not my friend and it kinda sucks that peoples ranks get reset but it is good we where not higher rank i guess =)
Nobody should worry about rank right now. Chances are the ranks will all be reset once all the matchmaking and boosting issues are resolved. Just enjoy what you can of the game.

There is an issue with people boosting ranks in custom games so don’t get too attached to your ranking. Chances are they get reset as soon as the issue is fixed.
