I mean sure Spartan-Ops has been confirmed, but what is so bad about that? Nothing. It’s just another game mode and a pretty awesome and ambitious one at that.

The campaign will still be playable by up to four players, and is sounding pretty damn epic at the moment.

And the multiplayer… Just let 343 innovate will you? Stop going on about “Classic Halo”, or do you really just want Halo 3.5.

Seriously, I’m getting pretty sick of the same old “UR RUINING HALO OMG” and “ARMER ABILITEEZ SUX I WANT HALO 3!!!1” 343 Is doing completely the right thing that any game developer would do. And that is taking inspiration.

Just bare with me when I say this but I can pretty much promise that Halo 4 won’t just be another CoD.

Armor lock was given a chance, look how that turned out, many people hated it.

Some of this stuff shouldn’t be in the game and elites and FF need to come back, ASAP.

The day people started to call Halo’s formula “classic Halo” was the day things went south.

I assure you, i will miss those features too, but about the firefight one in particular. Who’s to say that they won’t introduce firefight esque hold the line type missions in spartan ops? Especially since it sounds like they will be releasing 5 missions a week (if i recall correctly, too laxy to go back and check it again), i’d say that theres plenty of opportunities to introduce a dumpload of FF type missions.

Edit: just checked, yes it appears that its 5 objective based cooperative missions each week

I’m sure the Campaign and Spartan Ops will be cool. But I can’t play the same campaign over and over, multiplayer is what keeps bringing me back. If the multiplayer is not up-to-par again, I just won’t bother.

Campaign is literally the only thing I’m excited about. That’s not normal for me for a Halo game.

Spartan Ops seems like a good addition.

Random weapon spawns, Instant re-spawn, and x-ray vision are what we are infuriated with.

Im not alone! Please guys just stop with the non sense and learn how to open your eyes to the horrible corruption of the utopian Halo dream, please we need innovation, even if it “rips” off COD ( not that it does, by that logic every game in existence ripped off eachother, Hell Halo 3 ripped off Halo 2, big deal)

I’m actually happy to read about some of these things. The only things I’m not happy about is no firefight, but Spartan Ops sounds really interesting.

The Arbiter from Arby n the Chief won’t be happy about no Elites though.

Anyways, we shall have to wait and see if this is all true though.

I gave cod many chances and it didnt work.

We gave chances to Halo Reach, and it didnt work either.

I’m going to assume you have a strand of intelligence. It’s risky, as your using the old ‘adapt’ argument but I’ll take my chances.

Now when you say adapt, you mean my measure of success in a Halo game? Well, it’s got better, as the newer titles are easier to play and less competitive.

But if you mean adapt you mean what people should like? I can’t adapt what I think is fun to me. I can’t click my fingers and change that. Halo’s “classic” formula was fun to me. Whatever we have now, isn’t as much. And considering H4 looks to being going down a more casual version of Reach (oh it’s possible, CoD 4 was once considered casual, then look at it’s sequels) well, I have my reservations about it.

2nd Why must the core halo fans not have a opinion we been playing halo before half of 343i community was even born.

3rd Halo 4 is just going to fail like reach I hope it does to. You know there are more people online in halo 3 than reach. And there are currently 8793 players in living dead I find that so funny most of the people playing halo are in living dead.

the only thing i’m anxious about, is that in the “leaks” it said that the rocket launcher, shotgun and sniper are available for custom load outs.
