Give 343 a break

First the game has barley been out for 2 days stop being so dramatic saying 343 doesn’t care about the fans. Yes its good to give feedback and list issues so they can fix it, but you also have to give them time to do that. You want to fix that and this. They have to find the issues themselves, find a way to fix, and make a patch for you to download.

I don’t think it’s the issues themselves that people have caused people to become angry. I think it’s the lack of response from 343. I’m sure people understand that it takes some time to fix things, but there has been zero indication from 343 that they are trying to fix anything.

All 343 needs to do it make a forum post saying “these are the issues we are currently trying to locate and fix, please be patient, they will be dealt with as soon as possible”. That would likely calm a lot of people down.

Well they’re focused on fixing the servers first since thats what people are mainly complaining about you can even see it on twiiter @HaloWaypoint that they tweeted saying they’re trying to solve the server issues and waypoint issues for everybody

I complained about a few things prior to the game’s release to tell the truth.
Now I love the game, there are minor grievances, but it’s so much better than some people here are making out.
Specifically, people’s problems tend to lie with MP or the forge being a bit underwhelming. I think Forge could be better, DMR is a bit too OP at close range vs BR (make it a 6sk or add recoil or make BR a 12sk instead of the current 13sk) and PV is easily the best AA, jetpack and AC are usable, but thruster pack needs a buff.

That’s the extent of my complaints. The game is fantastic and even coming from someone who was critical of 343i I say give them a break, they have excelled in some areas but understandably underwhelmed in some, for me those grievances are minor but for others they may be more severe.

I agree there’s too much negativity here right now.

Idk why people think like this honestly. I mean, it’s not like 343i is just sitting around drinking Martinis and watching things happen. They’re working, and they’re busy, so no, they may not always be able to post a topic listing everything they’re doing. It’s only been a few days everyone. Cool it and just let 343i work in some relative peace. Your issues WILL be fixed.

OMG Yes! If a video game company would actually do that. PLEASE make a forum, or an exclusive twitter to just say, these are the issues we are fixing, and then people will stop bringing up the same stuff over and over again. They were vocal in fixing the server issues though, and that was nice. But what I want is better stats. This was an issue when they took over Reach. 343i is absolutely terrible at managing stats. In the game all you can really see is K/D. But online you can’t even see that. You can just see someone’s hours played and their top medals and a few other meaningless stats. It’s destroying the competitive nature of the game. And their iphone app is a joke. It was before Halo 4 and it still is.

The daily XP cap is right now the biggest issue here on the forums. Especially with the Dew XP double XP games. A post with a reason as to why it’s even there would cool the temperatures in here.

That’s bsangel’s job. She’s community manager or community relations or something. She should be communicating with us to let us know what 343 is doing about the issues.

There are people at 343 who are not going to be working on the patches, who should have the time to tell us what issues they’re fixing.
