Come on guys, 343 has been working on Halo 4 for the past 4 something years and have done so much to make it awesome. But in this forum, there are so many people who are just hating on what 343 is doing. I know 99% of everyone here respects them for what they do, but the changes that they make in Halo are for them to decide. They know that they have to balance promethen vision and camping or the noob combo. That’s why they make the game. They’re not going to go through all of this work to make a failure of a game!
I know that there are those of you trying to help 343 with your thoughts and that’s perfectly fine obviously, nothing goes without criticism, and that’s what these forums are for. But then there are some of us who can’t help but to say something negative about almost everything. Elites look like slugs, grunts look limited, jackals look like velociraptors and therefore they’re stupid. Personally, I like everything that I’ve seen with Halo 4 and don’t have a problem with it (besides the enemy of the spartan: water).
I can see that I have a good chance of fighting this battle by myself (that’s usually how these threads turn out), but I mainly want to thank 343 and everything they’ve done for Halo. They’ve inspired me within the release of Reach to continue my path of life in video game creation. Heck, i’d even work there if I could but I’m 14 and Halo could be over by the time I’m out of college.
Anyways, thanks 343 and I hope I made some point.
I’m really glad with 343i, they’re all Halo fans and you see that they really care about the whole Universe. I have no doubt that they will make a great game out of Halo 4.

I agree, but haters gonna hate and sadly there’s nothing we can really do about that. I know ‘everyone has a right to their opinion’ but their opinion would be much easier to listen to if they were not so insulting and arrogant in presenting it.
Sadly, exactly 50% of this forum will not do so until they have the game in the palm of their hands. As for the other 50% like us both, we actually have positive outlooks and hopes for the game.
And here’s another fun fact for those of you unsure about 343:
It purely consists of ex-Bungie employees, Hollywood talent, and most importantly… Halo fans.
I know it’s hard but we are all just going to have to learn how to ignore the haters. Because if 343 listened only to these forums they’d end up with the worst halo game in history.
No they need to keep working, they can have a break when Halo 4 is released.
I am no ‘hater’ but I do not necessarily like the way the franchise is developing.
As for 343, well, I prefer to look at a company for what it is and I try to do it while being unbiased which is difficult -seeing as I love Halo. Nobody needs to result to insults -hate- as the only thing you will tell people about your opinion is that you are overly aggressive and this implies that you don’t think things through.
Oh and I can’t help but notice that there is a lot of prejudice again competitive players in this thread. Everyone is entitled to their opinion both competitive and casual.

halo is my fav game and working on it would be a dream for me.

The graphics are awsome from what i seen.
Beside’s Who cares about how the enemy’s look, Becuase you’re going to have alot of fun shooting them up anyways (They look find to me).

It’s rather funny to see the hate that 343 is getting. I myself thought BUNGIE were the ones that had already began to steer the Halo ship in the wrong direction, sorry but Reach was a huge let down. 343 looks like they are making a shooter to compete in the current market. I will be giving them a try. Then I’ll make a judement.

Providing feedback is one thing. I don’t believe anyone has issues with that. Take a look at some of the post/threads. They are well beyond providing constructive criticism to help us have meaningful conversations about expectations or potential pitfalls for 343i to keep in mind. Like the, 343i is going to fail, it’s just like CoD, specializations, playlists, and yada yada yada which ends with this is terrible, 343i sucks, and the Halo experience is ruined. The whole, “the sky is falling” without proof. Let’s just play the game. If you notice, every single speck of info released has a trashy thread/posts. It’s crazy…
For me, it’s probably the absoluteness, over conviction, and self righteousness that’s a turn off. It’s like the, you’re going to hell speech from the guy standing on the corner.

You can and by all means voice your concerns. The problem isn’t with people posting their concerns and what they deem to be problems, it’s with how they present them. (They’re rude and act like entitled yoinks)
They want feedback from people who have had a chance to play the game, not bash every new piece of info that is released.

I know right its like after every new piece of info the forums are flooded with hate threads, some use reasoning some are just blind hate.

Yeah I get it, as long as it’s constructive of course, but I was responding to the whole judging without playing the game. I should’ve been more specific.
