I was just playing a deathmatch game where it randomly ended saying that I lost. One person from either team had been knocked out of the game but my opponent and I had the map roughly split 60/50 were I had taken the advantage and had broken his army. I was about to destroy one of his last three bases when it said I lost. I had a full army and five fully build bases left (and most of the fire bases). Apparently, when you hit the 2 hour marker the game ends and everyone losses. Multi hour long games in the original Halo Wars were the best part of the game. Please remove this time limit form the game.
Can anyone else confirm this? There is a chance you got hit with a premature endgame bug.
I’m pretty sure it is just a bug. same thing happened to me at the 45 minute mark

Definitely no time limit, but there is a bug that causes the game to end the match earlier. It’s super frustrating when you are in an hr long or more match, but it’s a beta and should be fixed before the release of the actual game.
