Gifting Memories of Reach Pack Problems

So I’m trying to gift a friend of mine the Memories of Reach pack and when I press X to do so the menu with the gamertags doesn’t pop up so I can’t send it. I have the right amount of req points. Do any of you guys know how to fix it or know what’s going on?

Generally, you have to purchase a REQ pack first before you see the option to either open it or gift it. You may not see the option to gift it until it’s sitting in your Unopened Packs section.

It’s also possible that the “Giftable” mark on the pack is an error. From the Monitor’s Bounty update preview about REQ gifting:

REQ packs can only be gifted if you purchase them with real money. If the MoR pack isn’t available for real money, then you won’t be able to gift it, even if the “Gift” button is there.
Also, please don’t revive old threads. There is a more recent thread on this topic that’s been created.
