now that they added the backpacks in MCC I was thinking of a golden star shaped backpack, with 152 written in it
Due to the constraints of 343 with regard to mods on the forums, you will need to post in English or your thread will be locked. Try using google translate, as that is usually good enough to get your point across.
Ok thx

Not bad… but I’m sure if they wanted to do something like that it would probably look more Spartan like the a star. Almost everything they do in MCC is probably a test for Infinite, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see backpacks in Infinite as well. Overall I like the idea (even though I’m not 152 lol)
I personally wouldn’t use it but I wouldn’t mind it’s existence.
that would look cool
I really like that you can unlock stuff in the new game by completing something in the old games.
I think it is a good way of keeping existing halo players engaged, while we wait, and at the same time rewarding the hardcore playerbase.
It would be nice if you could unlock something by completing challenges in the MCC. Like "complete all the LASO Playlist "or something like that:b
I don’t hate the backpacks at all tbh, but the fire axe and swords and board are a little too much for me personally.
Halo’s cosmetics for the most part have been pretty cohesive in terms of their tone, they’re either practical/tacticool, or just flat out cool like hayabusa and the katana or the Haunted Helmet.
I just hope Halo doesn’t cross that line into goofy cosmetics because Halo has it’s own morbidly absurd humor already and there’s a thin line between that and going full immersion-breaking goofy costmetics.

I kinda hope we do see some backpacks in Infinite. Part of it is because I liked the aesthetics of Reach where the Spartans had ammo pouches and other accessories that would be practical and realistic. Previous games had the sleek Mjolnir armor with nothing else, and while that didn’t give me pause at the time, I now see the lack of exterior accessories as a tad immersion breaking.
A backpack (more accurately called a rucksack in the military) would be a great way, from a lore perspective, to store items in an open-world setting. I know the game isn’t true open world, but it will likely have some open world mechanics. So having a rucksack would allow for the lore to explain how the Chief is wandering around with almost a half dozen equipment options, two guns, and all that ammo. I know he is super human, but he’s still gotta fit all that stuff somewhere.

Agreed.
I personally don’t really like the Shield attachment, or the floating axe that isn’t connected to the armour.
I like the idea of back attachments, but I think they could have explored more lore-friendly ideas before going Full-Goofy.
