Once you have 100% armory completion, there is no need for cRs… well except for ranking up to Inheritor. All these cRs are just rotting away and I thought I would pretty cool to gift them to others so your cRs will be… productive.
With this method, you could help your friends rank up, hold contests, and etc. to gift your cRs. Also, gifting cRs don’t count towards your cR limit so you could give out how much you want to others.

Like I stated you could “gift” them to others. Didn’t you get any Birthday gifts because it was your birthday not because you had to EARN them?
> I wish they would atleast have SOMETHING you can do with your credits after 100%. They obviously didn’t think out this ranking/cR system too well…
You know…most people don’t realize that it was never Bungie’s intention for people to even hit the rank of Inheritor, without playing the game for nearly two full years from date of release, just as the next Halo game would be released and gearing up…their website was never updated with ranks past General, even though several people within a very short time past those listed ranks, and avoid questions like the plague when asked about it.
The formula was simply laid out…7000 games with an average of 3000 cR per game to make it to Inheritor…
Without Custom Challenges and everything else, how many games do you have played, and what would be your REAL rank be???

As annoying as that would be, I imagine it would be a bannable offense (it would count as advertising) on these forums, and if you are stupid enough to buy ANY kind of virtual currency from eBay I don’t feel bad for that person. It’s just like people who would sell lvl. 50 accounts for H3.
The real issue would be warrant officer noobs friending a bunch of high ranks and spamming everyone they meet with requests, leveling up to Inheritor in a month. If anything, this system would only work if it didn’t count towards leveling up, only the armory. You would still have to level up and unlock armor the old fashioned way.

NO…Gifting something is what starts a WHOLE new problem with manipulation of a system, and the suggestion of it, even in a mere joking sense, is absurd.
The birthday ploy and example was a typical childish reply to what I stated and and in no way an argument…What if the cR system in this game wasn’t as broken as it was, and hitting the higher ranks, and unlocking the Armor, matched the rank and credit earned…would you still be looking to give a way what you played hours on end to earn…I doubt it seriously…but since it is broken, and there is no way fix it or to do such a thing…leave it be.
I like it =), anything that will allow me to use the credits I have been racking up would be nice. Someone suggested avatars and extras for Waypoint which I like too and welcome to Waypoint!

I was reset at HERO because of “AFK Behavior” (never once had ZERO kills). I have over 5,000+ games played. I would’ve been an Inheritor by now probably.
And yes, they didn’t think people would hit Inheritor. BUT, you’re 100% Armory is complete by Nova. Thus, 3 more ranks of pointless cR adding up.
It would never happen for a very simple reason. People would boost to the daily cap on several accounts and then just “gift” the credits to themselves on their main account, gaining tons of credits at once.
If cR didn’t count towards rank, then they might do it. But otherwise it would never happen.

That would be so cool! Maybe call the playlist Casino or something like that.

Since I was the one to come up with the idea, I had already thought about it, in case of naysayers and haters.
You would have to go through waypoint.
A maximum of 25K cR to any one GamerTag
All problems solved, you could never sell them for profit or exploit the system in any way.
