Anyone Notice the giant mech on adrift? yes, no, don’t care? well imagine a level in halo 5 where u get to use it and take down covenant ships it would be extremely fun awesome and really OP just imagine it wouldn’t it be AWESOME!!!

Pics not at this current time i am writing this but just go play the map adrift and in the centre where the overcooled spawns look up u see a giant mech and around the map i noticed some screens showing what it might look like when finished
I think (don’t quote me on this) that the giant mech is called a ‘cyclops’ and they were in halo wars, but I’m not 100% sure on that

Yeah they’re called Cyclopes. But I don’t think that’s a Cyclops. In Halo Wars they looked smaller (Probably Mantis sized). What’s in Adrift looks much bigger.

This mech on adrift is easily 5x if not bigger then a normal Mantis
I always thought it’s just a oversized mantis
It is a Cyclops Mark II. Mark I was in Halo Wars.

Me personally like i said it looks like a massive version of the mantis which i would love to play in halo 5 even if it’s for one mission and it would be taking down enemy ships.
Strictly speaking, the mech in the center of Adrift is a HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark II (D) armor system. You could say it’s a “baby” Mantis (HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark IX Armor Defense System), much like the Prototype suit (HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I Prototype Armor Defense System) in the Halo: Legends story “Prototype”.
Moving forward, I personally don’t believe a mech of that size would be very… practical in Campaign, but that’s just me. That being said, I’d probably fall in love the moment I saw it.

Like i said for it too work in campaign it would have to be battling some kind of ship maybe even inside the ship destroy it from the inside out.

It is a Cyclops, but a newer, upgraded version.
