I believe the “ghost” aspect in the name may possibly refer to AI considering an AI is technically the ghost of a person and Governor Sloan is a smart AI on Meridian.
The preview pic makes me think we’ll be most likely receiving a Warzone map. I think Ghosts of Meridian will allow forging in warzone where you can script enemy and boss locations to some extent.

I also think Infection will come with new flood based forge pieces.

and to honor infection a new weapon they’ll drop will be an updated classic shotgun similar to the one in the original trilogy.

If im correct 343 said warzone forge would be a possibility for halo 6 and would not come to 5. Will post link if i can find it again.
EDIT: Found the link one of the monitors said it is confirmed not to be coming to halo 5 guardians.

Same here. I am excited for the new Mantis though…

Hopefully we get a new weapon maybe the brute shot or focus rifle or brute chopper that would be cool. I also hope for multi team to be a playlist and use community forge maps.

I’m just hoping for infection. Everything else would be gravy.

that would be nice for them to bring back brute weapons or maybe some armor that looks like a brute kind of like the helioskrill looks like an elite
