I’m calling it guys,infection is coming why else would it take so long to release the update?There would be lots of bugs with a new game type along with play testing and they would have to make a new flood model and balance its increased agility combined with spartan abilities.The symbol appears to be a white hazard image due to there being what looks to be three parts coming out of a circle.

If there is no infection with ghosts, memories of reach better be one of the best updates to roll out. They took their time with this update and delivered 3/4s of a normal update, if they don’t have infection or something else big hidden.
I’m still hopeful as well. They haven’t said much about anything, and the low amount of new content in this update tells me that there is something big. However, I think the reason for the 1-2 week delay was the Halo World Championship. They wanted to focus on that for a bit. But they have enough people that it could honestly be a good cover up.

I also noticed that there is a second large “tile” at the top of the Req reveal. My friends and I have realized that they rarely release 2 maps in one update, so the other tile could be a game type! Fingers crossed

Now that I think of it someone pointed out the big tile to the right of the WZ map looks like the biohazard symbol used for infection!

Then don’t play it. I don’t care for Doubles but I’m not going to say I could do without it or that I hope 343 doesn’t put it out. I’m not selfish by limiting what others can do.

I’m a non infection player, and I prefer a more competive arena gametype, but it’s good to see infection for the fans of it. Competitive is fine just now imo.

Seriously, how mentally deficient are 343 employees? Adding a gametype that already exists can’t take months - there is definitely something bad going on. Why else would the most demanded gametype be held back to prevent this game from gaining a larger player base.

I’d love to see doubles just as much as infection, but as for the Ghosts of Meridan update I doubt it’ll bring a new gamemode.
