Every time I get hit with a ghost I die. Even if it just grazes me and isn’t being boosted I die. The other day I was playing a game of BTS on Vortex and on two separate occasions I rammed people dead on with full boost and they didn’t die. I know I hit them. Their shields crackled, but they didn’t die. Later I was able to succeed later by firing on people as I approached to weaken their shields before I hit them.
As far as I know there is no perk that will allow someone to survive a head on, full speed hit by a ghost, so I have to suspect some kind of cheating. Is there another explanation I haven’t considered?
The splatters in this game are really inconsistent, which is a shame. They finally make the Ghost worthwhile again, but ruin it with random bloom on the splatters.
despite what you’ll hear from everybody insisting that “LOL U PAID 4 A BETA XDDD” it has nothing to do with a glitch, but only with lag.

how is it relevant? simply because in H2 & H3, the host was american, 100% of the time, which made games laggy.
do you know how many times I “splattered” someone with a ghost, only to see them be bumped to the other side of the map AND taking shield damage but not dying? all the time.
it’s only lag related problems.

That doesn’t really make sense to me. Why would lag cause this. If you hit them, the damage should happen.
its weird. When you hit an enemy they dont seem to die unless your going at top speed, BUT team mates seem to die if you so much as touch them with the Ghost.
Halo 3, reach, all had the same issue. Seems to be due to lag and connectivity.

it didn’t make sense, it was extremely infuriating, particularly because it felt like the game was trolling you : “lol you hit him, he should be dead, but instead i’ll remove his shield, make him fly away and live!”
