So the last little bit I have been noticing with certain weapons that I I get the hit marker or the hit marker sound and the other player goes on to kill me.
Sword: multiple times I have heard the sound when you connect with an enemy but nothing happens. It’s like I am cutting air
Gravity hammer: this has issues no sense beating a dead horse
Sniper: this is the one that surprised me today. Low ping (45) and I put to shots into a guy he bunny hoped and eventually killed me. I went back and watched the clip. Sure enough I connected with his head got the damage sound and the small x that I did damage after already biting him.
Please tell me i am not alone in this… Gravity hammer I am not worried about as the community is aware of the glaring issues with this weapon, but the sword and the sniper are new to me.
Is it desync, halo gods, or 343 taking the fun out of the game
I experience same issue with grenade, sometime they just disappear when i get killed after i throw them.
BR, five bursts in the body on an opponent that had no shield, just survived and killed me.
But i dont know if its lag, desync or unstable hit detection.
I get the same thing. Desync, maybe. Rigged matches, possibly. Either way, this really makes me hate Infinite. Been playing the MCC campaign in chronological order on Heroic to pass the time. Hopefully it takes me long enough to hear that 343 actually fixed this mess.
I found myself getting annoyed by this today. I throw a grenade right before I die and it’s nowhere to be seen. I’m of the mindset it’s probably desync.
I know they nerfed melee but it feels very sluggish now like I’m swinging in slow motion. My Spartan had the strength to hurl grenades almost the entire length of a map but swings like an old lady .
