Ghost and Splatters: "--But I Hit That Guy!"

What’s up with splatters? It’s like I have to hit people head-on when they’re completely touching the ground. If I had a nickel for every time I hit a guy with the wing at full speed and didn’t kill, I could fly out to 343 and fix the problem myself

Seriously though, wtf? I go to ram, and unless it’s perfect, I end up brushing past the enemy as if I were trying to cop a feel. And then, when I try to brush past allies at low speeds, they end up getting splattered anyway. Wtf

That’s got to be my only real complaint, though. The Ghost could be a thousand times more useful with better splatter physics, IMHO.

Yesterday I got a splatter medal after hitting a guy but that didn’t die on impact.

I hit him. His shields popped. Didn’t die though.

The game was laggy so I dismissed it.

Jumps and boosts about 12 feet into the air, teleports dead underneath ghost

I’ve seen this kind of thing on both sides. There are plenty of times when I hold X to jack a ghost for what feels like a full second and I still get splattered. And probably just as many times where I thought I splattered someone and didn’.t

Armour lock is gone. In light of that, any other issues with splatters couldn’t bother me in the least. I’ve experienced difficulties, but it’s nothing to worry about.

I hate when i hit people head on and they fly like 100 feet, but their shields don’t even pop

So many times have I some how not splattered a guy with the wings of the Ghost and then ten seconds later at 5% speed I splatter an ally. It’s like it in Reach too though not so bad.

Its dumb. You literally have to hit them HEAD ON

Clearly you have yet to carry an undamaged enemy on the front of your ghost while boosting
Resulting in the inevitable hijacking of your vehicle

Sees Ghost coming–holds X as before it’s even near him–hijack instead of splatter. This is really ticking me off, lag or no lag. It happens consistently enough that it can’t always be lag.

I also found that it’s easier to betray your teammates by barely touching them with any vehicle than it is to kill the other team, or is that just me?
