Night after night I either hit the XP cap, or start gaining XP after the cap, only to have it stop paying out again with no message.
And tonight I went from over 50 double XP matches left, to 0 left in one match, and stopped earning XP as well. This was after the XP daily limit reset.
I’ve missed out on thousands of commendation and challenge XP as well because of the cap or other crap going on.
I was hoping to hit 71 tonight, looks like I’m stuck at 68 though.
343, this among many other glitches, bugs, and general failures is why you have a beta.
The XP cap really needs some modifications. Half the time I don’t even know if I am playing after hitting the cap. There needs to be a spot that you can check, preferably in the “Loadouts, Spartan Armor, Spartan ID” menu and maybe a warning that pops up upon starting a matchmaking search.
I’ve also lost out on at least 15k EXP from commendations because of this cap. Am I supposed to just stop playing? I mean I took a break after hitting the cap last night and started playing later. I ended up completing the Spartan Slayer commendation level 6. Well, there goes 5,000 EXP that I won’t ever get. Same thing has happened with several of my commendations.
The cap needs to ignore EXP gained from challenges and commendations.
