So i stopped playing after reach but just this week got halo 5 and heard you get a reward for halo infinite if you reach max level. Everything I’ve read so far seems like i probably missed that boat? Is there any chance i could make it to 152 in time? I’m currently level 12 lol thanks in advance!
No way you’ll make it in time, but 343 already stated that you will be jebaiting yourself if you grind for countless hours reaching 152. It’s supposedly a small reward for reaching 152, nothing to lose sleep over.
You could probably do it if you devote your entire day playing Halo until Infinite comes out, but on the plus side 343 didn’t say that you had to get 152 before Infinite comes out in order to get the reward.
Unless you are willing to play for a few hours every single day between now and the expected fall release of Infinite I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
I’m like level 147 and I genuinely don’t know if I’ll make it.
Like seriously, the grind for max level in Halo 5 is filthy…but I love it!
I did 16 m in 2 months but I love ff and wza, so I dont know if you can. It’s about resistance, a lot of people play ff for xp but I play it because I like it xD
edit: maybe if you put some money in exp packs you can do it, I haven’t but any of that, but legendary xp give you about 10k more than the normal.

how can be fun play 12+(4or5 h of research) in firefight and get less then 500k xp that it’s 1% of 50.000.000,the xp reward is too severe and not balanced

You absolutely can make it in time but it is getting close to the point people won’t be able to make it anymore.

What I do is not look a the experience, I just play it, if Im curious I look once every week. I think the experience is ok, for example if you play arena, you win two matches in 12 minutes, that is like a fast ff match, but in arena you get about 40% less exp
If you want to rank up more quickly, definitely grind firefight and warzone assault or turbo (if it’s in rotation). I, of course, hate these modes and would rather play ranked, which is why I’m not 152 yet. In addition to that, save up as many req points as you possibly can. Don’t waste them on gold packs or whatever else is in the store. Sometimes, 343 will put Legendary Warzone XP Packs which add about 11,000 xp to every game you play in warzone, which will considerably progress you through the ranks. It will probably be little fun for you because you won’t have any reqs, but it’s just about the only way. It might not even be possible at this point either. I honestly wouldn’t even try. Just try to enjoy the game for what it is. From what I gather, the reward in Infinite isn’t going to be that great anyways.
Don’t be shy about teaming up. Use XP and RP boosts every game. If you team up every game it with help a lot with the grind burn.

Let’s say that you have 5 million XP, so that is like 45,000,000 left.
If the game (Infinite) arrives in November, that is 9 months left, so they are 270 more days, so you need about 166,666.6 Daily xp for achieve it.
So, if you play Firefight (Legendary, Heroic) that is like 16 matches daily, if every game is between 15 minutes, they are 4 hours daily of firefight.
BUT!!! They will put Mythic permanent soon, so, you will need to play like 2 hours of mythic. I think it’s possible, and if you go with a team, like some dudes here say, It’s going to be easier and less stressful.
I made a quick calculation, it doesn’t mean that you have to play every day, you can leave it and make it a day 6 - 8 hours or something XD
