Getting this error message, "No ping to our datacenters"

So I keep getting this error message and I’ve literally done everything from port forwarding to calling my ISP and it’s still there, I didn’t have this issue before, I got the game on launch and played it for a long time then out of nowhere I’m getting this message. I should note that I contacted support and they are absolutely USELESS completely oblivious MORONS! To prove that I added our convo so far below. Does anyone in the community have a solution to this or am I no longer going to be able to play this game?! I’ve done everything short of the cellphone hot spot fix because I don’t have a wifi adapter for my PC.

Hi ToFastForUVash,

Thank you for the response. Our team already provided all the assistance we can for this issue. All of the troubleshooting steps available for this issue is listed on the article that we shared earlier.

We understand that you have already contacted your Internet service provider. They are the people who can help since they’re the administrators of your network.

There was also a service change that was released this February that affects the online component of Halo Infinite. Please know that players may experience issues like this if geofiltering methods were used to modify the game’s connections. Here’s the link to that update:

We’ll close your ticket now, but please feel free to submit a new one if you have a different issue to report.

Thanks,

Halo Agent York

I did that, and they were completely useless, do you know if 343 is working on a fix for this?"

Well, the message is something they said would show up if you geofilter.
Here’s their update on it:

https://forums.halowaypoint.com/t/halo-infinite-update-on-latency-geofiltering/501149

And the quote relating to the message:

  • How did you prevent geofiltering?

As we touched on above, we can’t let geofiltering continue because of how it degrades the experience for our players. So, earlier today, we made an update to our online services that should prevent geofiltering players from searching in matchmaking.

If our services detect that a player is geofiltering, that player will receive a message saying, “No ping to our datacenters detected.” Once a player removes their geofilter, this message will go away and they should have no issues queuing into matchmaking.

Ok, how do I know if I’m Geofiltering? I know I am for Rainbowsix but Ubisoft allows that in their own file.

Well, I’d say that you’d know you’re geofiltering by the knowledge that you actively set your router to connect to only servers you want to connect to? I seriously doubt you’d be doing it yourself without knowing it.
Though, the alternative is that your ISP has one set up themselves without you knowing it so I’d suggest asking them about it.
