Has anyone been able to get it, every time I damage an enemy and they then fall to their death my weapon in use that I shot them with gets the kill. So I’m wondering has anyone been able to get it and what game mode.
I have gotten it- it’s glitched. I’ll try to find the video to show you.
Edit: Here is how I got one of my 2 Sayonaras. This was the glitch that I think has been eradicated where wussies would hide in armories to prevent capturing. I killed the glitcher 
Can’t find the other one. I was in a Banshee and clipped a Mongoose with a Banshee bomb near the spire on Raid On Apex 7. It fell through the map and I got a Sayonara.
It’s one of the few I don’t have =(
Yes but even harder in this game is the one extermination I got. Well the only one it gave credit for.

Kill the entire enemy team within 5 seconds I believe, they just added that medal into grifball so I’ve gotten a ton there now lol

aaa I see it now in the kill medal zone
I saw a post on Waypoint some time ago that said you could only get Sayonara if the player had zero shields at the time of his fall so that the impact from the fall kills him. It can’t be falling into a pit or off the side of the map as there is no impact with the ground.
I am not sure if this is 100 percent accurate as it is dang near impossible to try and set up in H5 to test it out. But it was the best theory/explanation I have seen.

the only way to fall to your death is to fall of the side of the map or into a pit because their is no fall damage in halo 5 i believe unless u can get damaged from falling with out shields. I dunno I thought fall damage was removed from halo before this game even.

I think it is. I don’t get as much playtime as I’d like lol I’m out of the loop.
It’s glitched I’m sure no one has earned it
