On the Xbox Store is states that digital pre-orders will be able to play the game at 12:01AM Eastern time. For people in the US in other time zones, will we get to play the game early? For example, I’m in the Central time zone, could I play it at 11PM locally? Can anyone confirm or deny?

I saw that and wondered the same thing. I am PST and all the other digital pre-orders I’ve done unlock at midnight, my time. Here’s hoping I get to play 3 hrs early though!
Yeah, you’ll be playing it before midnight in your timezone if you’re any of the other timezones in the USA. This already happened with Forza Horizon 2 and I experienced it. 11pm CST and I was gaming with the full game with no issues.

Sweet! I pre-ordered FH2 but didn’t bother to check on it until I got home later that day. I will be playing at 9:01 pm, PST then, see you all there!
