So I don’t have any DLC for Reach because, when I got it, I was a bit late to the party due to my xbox being broken for the long-term. I suppose I’ve got a few questions really;
Is it worth buying any of the Reach DLC?
I only have 1200 points, should I buy Anniversary map pack, Defiant or Noble or should I just save them?
Can I play the DLC playlists with only Defiant OR Noble?
Oh boy I wish the 50% offer was still on for those maps, I didn’t have any MP at the time. 
The DLC Playlist requires JUST Noble & Defiant and Anniversary is optional, considering Anniversary is 1200, I would buy that as there are four playlists dedicated to it compared to the others which has one.
Unless you want CEA then GET THE ANNIVERSARY MAP PACK!!! It’s fantastic! Well worth the money. Battle Creak and Headlong are my favourite maps.
Get Anniversary. There’s more support for it.
Which is sad, because I also think Noble and Defiant are amazing, but sadly no one’s shown them much love.
honestly the dlc for reach doesnt seem worth it. i bought all the map packs and realize that they are not in any of the playlists that i play (slayer, arena, mlg). I guess if you play the playlists that require them it would be. im not really sure why the maps are not in more places. i did notice they are in the new slayer with the march update though.
No one is playing defiant and noble in public games any more. So skip on those.
agree, if you arent planning on getting halo: CEA, then get anniversary map pack. its got the most maps, and they are pretty good. Technically the dlc maps can be played in any playlist, but so many players dont have them, they almost never show up. Its time for MS to offer a hell of a discount on the first two and make it standard to play online.

There has been about three or four occasions now when Noble & Defiant have been 400 MS Points each, discounting them does nothing.
All of the new maps are good. But only the anniversary see real play.
If you’re money bags and like customs get them all.
If you’re just gonna get one, get anniversary. Especially if you never played CE. Dammy, Beaver Creek, and Prisoner are the three best small maps in the game, and Headlong is easily the best BTB map. I’d highly recommend Noble as well.

Because it’s never well advertised. I only heard about one occasion when they were discounted.
I was lucky enough to pick up Noble and Defiant while they were both on sale, and an Anniversary code landed in my lap. Who knows, check with your buddies, if any of them only have CEA, they might be willing to part with the code for Reach. And you’ll be able to play with them again.
