I’ve been running into a constant issue with getting kicked from matches and getting banned for quitting. I understand why they put this here but i fell like its just not right. I’ve never left a game on purpose, the only reason I’ve left a game was because my console is located in the garage and sometimes my wifi is spotty and disconnects me. Regardless, I got another one of these messages “you have been hit by the ban hammer and have been banned for a while please visit our web site www.halowaypoint.com/ban” so i go there and read the article about “how long will the ban last?” and it said “The length of bans vary on the type and number of offenses.”. I’ve already been hit by this ban hammer two times just because it kicked me out for other reasons that caused me to disconnect that were out of my control.
I know I should have my Xbox One hard wired to the internet, but our family doesn’t have the option where I’m allowed to play my Xbox. I honestly just want to play the game that I paid $60 for without getting banned every other day for reasons out of my control. There should be some setting or way for the game makers to know that when a person leaves a game abruptly it’s not always assumed they left for malice reasons. This has gotten so bad to the point to were i can not play this awesome game because its a possibility to get banned permanently because of losing connection.
Trying to get in touch with the makers of the game is also a task in itself to plead my case. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else experienced this too? Please share your experience with me and what/how you might be able to resolved it.
