I was playing Asylum this morning when I seemed to come acrosse an odd glitch. I would be sprinting I would get to where i want to, but when I was normally walking/strife i would get stuck to suddenly stop. I dont know why that is but it is also happening to me in different maps as well. Is this a glitch with the game or is it my controller ?
TL:DR I walk, but suddenly get stuck and wait there for a few second and then continue . This is happening very frequently and is getting in my game play… Could anyone enlighten me to whats happening ?
This started happening with me a few months after Reach came out, probably didn’t help my control went on Holiday to my bedroom floor a few times, I just grabbed a spare control, haven’t experienced it since.
Best guess, it’s your controller.
I think its your controller since this never happened to me on less i stopped walking. Clean your controller regularly with a cotton swap for dust and the controller sticks for sticky things. Or try a new controller. hope this helps.

I think it’s funny how your TL;DR is almost as long as your original statement. lol. But on topic, it probably is just your controller because I’ve never had nor heard of this problem before. It is an odd thing to happen though.
Happens to me as well… except with my right stick but i got used it. Anyhow, i think you have to clean your controller. I clean mine with a toothbrush and it works fine.
