Last night i probably got killed by 6 stickies during close encounters. Either players aim is getting better or i need to stop playing so aggressively.
I rarely get stuck. Probably the latter.

I’ve been sticking a lot of people recently. Especially last night. 
For some reason I expected this thread to be about getting stuck in the map. I’d say 1/3 of my base captures in dominion result in me being rooted to the spot. Only way to get out is to jump.
Being able to spawn with plasma nades makes it easier. Im less than ten kills with them to max out my plasma nade commendations

Not sure, but I think that’s intentional. Unless you’re talking about something else.

If you knew what you were doing and playing aggressively, you wouldn’t be in any spartan’s face or at least that close to get stuck.
I find myself getting stuck a whole lot more often than in any other Halo game before 
I thought this was going to be about getting stuck on structures or other things which I would’ve agreed with. It seems like I get caught on the most random things in this game.
I haven’t really noticed many sticks. I think it was worse in Reach.

It’s usually a panic move on their part. I’m rushing them down and they resort to throwing a plasma at the last second. It usually turns out to be a death-death situation for the both of us. Which is annoying.
So many kids I play against will simply run up to my and try and throw a sticky at my face. Soooo amusing, but also really annoying when they pull it off

I agree it is quite amusing to see people do that, yet I have a tendency to throw a plasma right before I die in hopes to get a kill from the grave.

Same. Running up and trying to use stickies as your first-option attack is stupid. Most of the time you’ll just end up with a mutual kill, which doesnt really accomplish anything (unless you’re going after a power weapon-user).
But if I have them in my loadout (read: if I’m playing BTB/Dominion), you can bet I’ll go for the desperation stick if I know I’m going to lose an encounter, and I’ve gotten a lot of “kill from the grave” medals for it. Winning the encounter is of course preferable, but if you’re going to die, you might as well take someone with you.

this is pretty much how they work, unless you have great aim with them, they are a last ditch effort to take the enemy down with you. I have fair aim. so i can manage to get some stickies at a distance. i was downright lethal with them in halo3. but i havent tried too hard here.
so far i only use them as an “im taking you with me” tactic, and for vehicles. Also if im getting shot from a distance and have no chance of getting to cover or out shooting the guy ill lob one across the map in their direction.
I could probably go on a tear with them if i really tried and set up a class to do it, but again, i havent tried so far.
I notice a lot of stickies happening too. Although I’ve gotten a lot of sticky kills once I figured out that to stick someone less than ten feet away you should aim to the right a little bit to adjust for throwing with your left arm.
Letting players spawn with plasma grenades always has been, and always will be an extremely stupid idea…
I go for panic sticks all the time… and rarely get any.
I’m probably trash, but it’s possible that I’m actually normal and you are playing too aggressively. :\
Get used to it. It’s a loadout choice and it’s to be abused.
Abuse or die really. I don’t get hit by stickies on foot that much. On vehicles is a different story and i would be inclined to agree.
Main problem is everyone spawns with 2 or if they so choose, 3.
Ruins using the warthog when they use a PP in conjunction.
