Wow dude. I seen some of your games. You had unranked players on your team,and on champs team. One low level rest champs.
That’s how they can go against players like you. They have the lower guy in party enter lobby. It’s sad but happens everywhere no matter what game or even what platform you play on. When that happens just back out of lobby after the game.
Also looks like you all held up pretty good in some of those games
I didn’t check your games, but if what scooby said is true about you doing well then your CSR might be higher than a legit platinum player which could be why you’re getting matched with higher level people more often.

from my skmilar experience since i started online halo in october 2013 to till date, I want to point out that RANK IS JUST A NUMBER, JUST A LIE. believe in yourself and give it your best shot. make every shot count and play like its the end of day. okay motivation time over. back to topic. as someone said your skill is higher than your CSR. its the same with me. i have defeated a champion in 1v1, have beaten a 4 group of onyx with randoms in slayer.
only advise i will give is to sit down. take a deep breath and focus. use your brain to play not your reflexes. If you will notice, i can say that you are just running around the map like crazy and running straight into the guys and getting killed. easy. i can say that without looking at your games. Dont do that. Just play smart. start expecting a enemy at every turn, at ever corner. and never rush at position they are holding. they will be expecting you. instead hold back let them come to you. its much easier with randoms as not everyone will be holding positions. and remember to take piwer position and hold it for a while before moving on. thats how you pick up enemies…
i am getting late now. if you want more tips which i sure do have, add me up and message me when i am online.
trust me, if you do what i tell you, your experience will start to improve slowly but will not sky rocket just after reading this post.

Technically not cheating
And Im just saying it’s what people do I’m not saying I agree with it it’s just how it is.
Also it’s possible my friend went from gold to diamond 3. I’m not saying don’t complain about you suck I’m just saying sadly people do that and that’s why

It would be his MMR doing that if that was the case, not CSR. Really he shouldn’t match these players anyways, but the population is probably spread thin so search parameters have to be widened. That plus those players boosting is going to cause matches like that sometimes.

Eh I used to be a gold/plat player but now I’m onyx in multiple playlists. While it certainly isn’t desirable, if he sticks with it and actively tries to get better then he definitely can improve.

Network yourself with better people. Don’t give up. That’s how you improve.

I hear ya OP. Have you tried using focus in the search engine? It may help…or maybe try playing with a team, but ya when your playing against people WAY higher then you all the time, it’s really annoying. In Killer Instinct, when I played ranked mode, I was ALWAYS being put up against players that were ranked way higher then me, and it honesty just made me stop playing ranked mode. I really hope this doesn’t happen to you in Halo 5. I do think for whatever reason the 10 placement matches always puts you against really high ranked people, which is annoying! Heck the 10 placements matches in general are IMO, but I won’t get into that.
I hope things turn around for ya man. Play some social from time to time too, it helps.

I didn’t mean quit matches, I meant quit Halo 5 since its matching is god awful. Also, if he’s in a game with a bunch of bad players who have to prey of the weak, then yeah, I’ll say quit. I’m not afraid to leave a bad game unlike some, and I don’t flame others that do like A LOT of people do in this site. I’m assuming you’re one of those people.

I knew what you meant and telling people to quit the game is not the way to be. Doesn’t solve anything… We should be encouraging people to play H5. Growing the community…

It’s not. Or at least it really isn’t except when people try to mess with it. If 3 plats and 1 onyx play. They will be going up against platinums. To me that makes sense. It only becomes a problem when you have a champion or onyx actually doing that to lvl up friends. I don’t like that. Like in theory and beginning it worked but when people started doing that that’s where it messed up
Plus those people are the top 10℅ on the playlist so it doesn’t happen super often to most players I think some people get really unlucky like the OP.
Overall not saying it’s right but a possible fix is say you can’t play ranked with someone who’s x lvl lower than you maybe?

Oh… well, we all make mistakes.
I didn’t tell him to quit it. I said if I were him I’d leave the game because it clearly doesn’t work the way it has been advertised. I wouldn’t want to play a game and get stommped constantly because I’m being placed with people way above my own skill level. That’s all I was saying, I wasn’t telling him to quit.
