Hey, I am xUnknownSoldazx. And i am wondering. Can i get my progress back? So, here’s my story. I got Xbox Live in 2013. I was a Colonel Grade 3 and when i joined Xbox Live, i lost all of my progress. So, i am wondering if i can get my progress back on a seperate profile. Offline. Thanks!
That is exactly what happened to me.
Good evening.
Bungie implemented a system on Halo: Reach to prevent people from cheating. If a player has played Halo: Reach offline, and then logs online to LIVE for the first time to play Reach, that player will lose most, if not all their cR. This system was implemented to make sure players would not cheat their way to a rediculously high rank offline (Such as Inheritor for example), and then log online to save the progress. Now that you have logged onto LIVE with Reach, that will not happen again (Unless you do something along the lines of cheating that gets you a reset), so play online, complete challenges, and earn cR to get back to where you need to be.
If you were reset after logging onto LIVE and Reach after beyond the first instance of doing so (of what I mentioned above), you probably did something that was considered boosting or cheating and hence earned the reset.
Regardless of scenario, this is not reversible, simply put, play the game and earn your rank back.

Man that sucks. This happened to me but I didn’t even have xbox Live. Which really cheesed me off. But I guess it is what it is. Also it was forever ago so what does it matter now
