What’s up fellow Spartans? With Infinite on the way, I want to finally make the push to reach max rank in Halo 5 to get whatever this special emblem 343 is giving us this holiday season with the launch. What better way to express your love for Halo with the spiritual reboot coming???
So what’s your best advice? I’m currently SR 96, so yes I know I have a long way to go. That’s okay thanks to quarantine times. I read that Heroic Warzone Firefight is the best overall way, and last night I got 15K experience from one match but today I got only 4k. So what are your recommendations? And anyone looking for a new Halo friend, let’s go Spartan.
I still pretty much just play H5, now on a 2nd account. That 2nd account is at 105. I really dont think that 2nd account will get there.
I don’t want to sound like a downer, but I just want to let you know what you’re in for if you’re serious about getting to max rank. It is possible to reach from where you are, you just aren’t going to have a life for a while.
To get from SR 1-152, you need a total of 50,000,000 xp. At SR 96 you are just a little bit under 3,000,000 xp. To make it easier to reach the long term goal, I would give yourself a set amount of xp you want to earn each day. If you don’t worry about the total xp you need, and just make sure you reach your daily goal every day, it will help you to not be overwhelmed. If you got 350,000 xp every day starting now, you would be done just before mid-November(when I think Infinite will launch).
Now you don’t need to get the same amount every day. For me personally, I like to try and get a lot more xp on weekend days than weekdays because I don’t work weekends and I often have a lot more spare time.
As for game modes to play, Always play mythic firefight when it comes on weekends. You can also play turbo and assault when they show up, but I’ve found mythic FF to be the best xp for time put in. For the rest of the week switch it up between heroic/legendary FF, featured playlists, and infection. If you want to experiment with different game modes to see what gives good xp, I would look for ones that give you at least 1,000xp/minute. Always make sure you use boosts. Legendary xp and xp jackpot boosts are your best friend and are going to make a big difference.
