I’m working on my final commendation for warzone and that is killing Legendary bosses. This would be fine if it wasn’t so hard to actually get the medal. I’m not talking about the enemy stealing the kill from my team but instead i’m talking about whenever I pull out a laser and do a majority of the damage to a boss but a teammate who shot it once with a lucky BR shot gets the medal instead. I should at least be getting an assist medal for all the damage i put on a legendary boss but instead I get nothing but a wasted laser and no progress towards this blasted commendation.

I’ve completed it, just use heavy weapons on end.
Use lasers for banshees when it’s on half health

Using Plasma Pistols is also a easy way to get them killed too

That doesn’t address my complaint though. The game should be giving me an assist for doing the majority of the damage to a boss but it doesn’t. It would be like the game not giving you an assist on an enemy spartan when you pop their shields and then a teammate with a BR gets a headshot.

They should give the kill to the person who did majority damage to the enemy and the assist to whomever gets the lucky BR shot.

This has been suggested, I imagine it will be changed to this at some point. For now just last hit bosses with power weapons.
