Anyone else having this issue? during the loading screen after players are found I sometimes get kicked from the game as if it was a custom. this results in a ban.
I submitted a ticket but wanted to know if this is happening elsewhere.

It just happened to me, I was loading in a SWAT game on Halo 2 Anniversary, my game crashed and I got a 30 minutes ban

This just happened to me in Reach, but no I did not get a ban and I should have if my situation was the same as yours - my game froze earlier today crashing MCC and I got a 5 minute one. I guess I got lucky. Sorry to hear that, it sucks we get banned for no fault of our own.

Same thing happened. I didnt press anything. The game hadn’t even got going so it’s not like i got kicked or reported by another player. (Not that i would have deserved it, i just play for fun, i don’t cheat and I’m a good sport) some hi ow i was booted into the lobby. And when i tried to hit play it said i was banned for 4 minutes. It’s bot the first time ive been kicked out for no reason. I’ve never left a game on purpose. shouldn’t be punished for it.

Happened to me right now. Was coming to read if this was a common issue. I had two accidental betrayals in two separate games on different players I thought what was it lol

You shouldn’t get any bans in social but this is pathetic. Its why I stopped playing.

This should only happen for repeat offenders.
If someone drops 2-3 games in a row, no big deal.
If someone drops 2-3 games in a row, every day, maybe that should result in an action.
343, there are so few people still playing stop banning them.

If Halo MCC’s matchmaking could make use of dedicated servers (both for Multiplayer and Campaign), this could happen a lot less often.
That would probably a huge undertaking, though, as the MCC games were designed with peer-to-peer servers in mind. Still, it would be great if 343 could somehow pull that off.
Multiplayer already does. Campaign is P2P though.
Its happening to me right now. I was playing normally without quitting a match but suddenly after a match ends I was banned. I don’t understand what’s going on.
Is there a twitter page and web page to do a request? because what I’m watching right now it Is happening to everyone.

You can try to submit a support ticket on the support website. This is something that used to happen to me sporadically. It hasn’t happened in a long time now though.

This is the issue with where 343i has brought their games to help discourage people from quitting, but what happens is that when we get DC’d or the game crashes we get match making bans that should’ve happened in the first place.

This is why 343 needs to remove quit banning until they can fix these kicking you out bugs and crashes. Imo quit bans longer than 10 minutes are stupid and useless anyway.
Another example of 343 feigning that their hands are tied on an issues they created.
Rinse / repeat, its the 343 formula.
