So I recently ordered og halo 3 as I haven’t played since 2009. I didn’t know multiplayer existed or cared. Halo 3 is my top multiplayer because of MCC, I’m sad I missed it back in the 360 days. All I did was play for hours on campaign and local on every halo before h4 and even reach online on an old account. I wanted to know if its still possible to get katana starting this month or even get the all achievements. I did max out on h4 on my old account and plan to it again with reach before the final days. If so, any tips?
Yes of course. All of the achievements and the katana are still obtainable. The only item that isn’t obtainable anymore is Recon, which was tied to Bungie’s website.

343 released Recon for everybody when they took over from Bungie. It’s basically a default armour at this point.
To the OP:
All achievements are currently obtainable, in theory at least. Some will be harder to get than others as many are tied to multiplayer, and OG Halo 3 multiplayer is pretty bare of players right now. Because of this, the best bet for multiplayer achievements is to boost for them, especially the ranked ones. If you just want the Katana, you don’t even need all of the achievements, you just need 1000 gamerscore in Halo 3 (out of 1750).

Yeah I’m aware. Clearly this user wasn’t around for it. I don’t recall seeing too many people with Recon nowadays, but I imagine everyone was wearing it back when the server change occurred.

Not everyone got Recon. Only those who had an active Halo 3 account at the time got it.
I had the Katana. You just have to get 1k gamer score from Halo 3
