Is there any other information I should know about being invited to the flight tests, are there certain times I am able to be invited at or is it just random. How would I download halo infinite, do I download it from the Xbox Insider Hub after I am invited or any time I want to?
Flight programs are available to download during specified dates. As the first Halo: Infinite flight is now over you will have to wait for a potential invite before you can download it. And yes, if you are on Xbox you can download it via the Xbox Insider app.
Once you’re signed up for Halo Insider make sure all of your information is up to date - included what console you have if you’ve bought a new one or PC parts etc.
Turn on communications and you’re good to go.
This first flight is now over so you won’t be getting a invite to it. However more flights will come in the near future.
Being a Insider gives you a chance to play but not guaranteed. They plan to increase the amount of Insiders with each flight, you’ll get to play at some point so don’t worry if you’re not picked for the next one.

After that flights will just be a update to the Infinite Insider game on your console.
