If I’m not wrong people who are invited for Infinite tech preview also got invited to try new upcoming Halo Waypoint app.
How can you get it.
I tested it in Android so I’m gonna guide you to it and what you can do with the app and game together.
(Idk much about iOS so I’d appreciate if someone can make a short guide for people who have trouble giving the app a try)
First check your Waypoint messages and if you see that you’re invited for Waypoint app preview, then go to the Google Play Store, install Halo channel app. After installing you will have an option on the store page itself that you can opt for a beta version of this app. Once you opt in, wait for few minutes or an hour and check the store again. You can see it asks for the update, upon doing it so the Halo channel app will change to the new Waypoint app.
And you can pretty much do all the things the app provides, because it’ll guide you through the app.
What’s about this app?..
It’s like a companion app, in short you can customise your spartan, AI, Emblem, etc. You can aslo keep a track on your battlepass, the challenges and even use xp boost consumables if you ever enter a match and feel like you forgot to turn on the XP boost.
It’s really helpful. There are some bugs and few things may not work. Thats why we’re here, we try it out give our opinions and what can be changed, what needs to be changed, what’s working and what’s not.
I hope this helped you guys out. I hope every one stick patient for the game to finally come out and stay positive. Because being able to play the tech Preview, it’s a good experience. And I’m so excited who amazing it could be after the game’s completely set for release. Let’s stick together providing feedbacks, to make the game as better as we could together and lets make Halo, the game we love, an amazing game.
At this point if someone wondering if work for 343… No. I’m not. I’m just a nobody who felt blessed for getting a chance to test out this amazing game.

Halo channel app doesn’t work anymore. U need to opt for beta in playstore. Later halo channel app will be updated. You sign in with your account. And if youre an insider you may get it ig

I have the app working, some parts are a bit buggy.

So you need to make sure it is installed. Then you have the force close and clear the Google play cache. Go back in search halo channel. There is a join beta. It will say pending. For me I had force close it again, go back in and search Halo Channel or halo waypoint. Click on it and then click on update. I have heard some people had to clear cache after selecting join beta and force close Google play.
It took a few hours but my halo channel app switched to the waypoint app. It’s a bit buggy but you can customize your spartan and change your tag and stuff and it shows up in the flight.
Anyone have a link to feedback on the app quick? Mine is rather bugged and it took forever to customize my dude

For the IOS app, you need to install TestFlight. An app for all app beta testing on IOS.
Upon installing TestFlight, following the link sent to you by 343 on your IOS device will open up the TestFlight app allowing you to install the app.
From there you simply log into your Microsoft account.
There are some bugs in the app such as AI not loading, a disconnect between your actual in game armour on the main customisation screen (It does show equipped armour when you click customise). I wish we could see the service record too like in Halo 5 (which has been added to the Waypoint beta website but doesn’t load anything and also doesn’t show Coming soon like trying to purchase the battle pass does.)

I didn’t get. It doesn’t matter anyway as I need to get an invite for Halo Infinite to get the website
i have it on pc but where do you customize your emblem/player card and service tag?
