Why is it sometimes when you jack a ghost the opponent dosnt die but when you get jacked you die instantly or get one shot by the opponent that you just booted off? Is this a glitch or a lag issue. My internet is just fine. Also I’m not talking about increased strength ability either as this can happen right at the start of a game before anyone has enough req points for that ability.
I’m not 100% sure what you mean, but to my knowledge the way that it has always been in Halo is that if you get Hijacked on ANY vehicle, you will only die if you have half shield or less when kicked or punched from the vehicle. If however you are getting killed from one punch or kick when you do in fact know you have full shield then it would completely be a latency issue. Sometimes it doesn’t have to be on your end for the game to lag.
You must be talking about Mythic Firefight in Halo 5, and to answer the question, Firefight was never really well thought out in Halo 5, it was kinda thrown together and I don’t think it was given the time to be properly balanced. You can even kill the enemies on the phantom turrets or the chin turret either.
All depends on the hijack and how many rounds the spartan absorbed. What you’re talking about has happen with me and i’ve done it kindly in return. Also you will take damage hijacking, you are hopping onto a moving vehicle, and shield will absorb what it can until it can’t.
