i got bored with computer gaming and decided to buy a xbox one and halo 5. i plan on buying battlefront and fallout 4 later but i miss my halo, been stalking the forums on all the complaining and watching warezone videos. from what i saw the multiplayer looks fun with friends that is and out of all the complaints none of them bother me, yes i do hate the new spartan abilities and i hope to god bubble shield is not in this game! the REQ packs in truth dont bother me i mean if u spend money on them then your a idiot lol, me im a huge ODST fan and i miss the prier games that had ODSTs in them, ya sure there is nightfall armor ill be sticking with that, but they ruined my assault rifle, my favorite gun ;_; thats my only complaint other then that what am i expect from the community they still like they where in Reach with hard core drama filled clans, i keep hearing people actually give a crap about there KD, like really? u dont play games for fun? D:
all and all what im asking is will i expect to have fun being a casual player in matchmaking?
Bubble shield is not in the game so don’t worry about that. I’d start out with warzone/warzone assault first. Going straight into arena might be a bit tough cause you might run into full party teams and get crushed.
Yes! In my opinion I found all Halos to be enjoyable. Even though there are some flaws but that should not matter. New spartan abilites are not as bad as they seem, I actually like them. If you play this game for fun expect just that.

thanx for the warning might start off small then try SWAT or something
No really. H5 is too much on the competitive side. They’ve changed so many things that it no longer feels like halo. (to me at least, and I’ve played each Halo game since CE)
Play Campaign to get a hang of the gameplay/sandnox and when you feel good about it jump right into Arena. It’s fun as hell and really competitive.
The main problem with the game right now is that it lacks content (no Firefight, little maps, a really small assortment of gamerypes, no Forge yet- we’ll have to wait for December).

ah, fair enough, lucky me forge should be in game time i get halo 5 i go there first since my friend spoiled the campaign for me
If you only want to be a casual gamer, which there is nothing wrong with being by the way, then no, I do not recommend Halo 5 for you. It is stupidly competitive, yet contains some of the most casual game mechanics available for a game. So if you want the game, go ahead and get it. But I cannot recommend the game for casual gamers, until they release a decent set of social playlists.

Just don’t watch one of the trailers or listen to hunt the truth or live action videos. that way you won’t be disappointed thinking it’s going to be whole different game
