Getting Fed Up

Isn’t it amazing how 343i still hasn’t figured out all this update secrecy just digs their hole deeper? I mean okay, sure it was ok for the scheduled monthly updates, but we don’t even have a freakin’ NAME for this upcoming update, why? It feels as though 343i intentionally keeps us in the dark about updates until a few days before they launch, and when they finally do, all we feel is disappointment an angst. This is getting ridiculous, not to mention the game is still pretty damn broken. If I had know this is how Halo 5 would’ve turned out in the end, I’dve spent that $60 on Twilight Princess HD, not Call of Titanfield 5: Giant EMP Transformers edition now with microtransactions!

Well, that was emotional.

I feel like I didn’t get the campaign I paid for but the rest of the game is pretty damn good.

It’s a little bit extreme to get that hung up over an update having no name though, I honestly thought they were done with the updates.

A shorter answer would be what isn’t broken with the game. But I’ll make a list of things I know off the top of my head:

  1. Small arena maps make Spartan Charge, Thrusters, Ground Pound, and sprint ENTIRELY BROKEN.

  2. Spawning is crap in every gamemode.

  3. Req system goes down constantly.

  4. Feels like there is little to no weapon balance when it comes to Arena play.

  5. Grifball has sliding?!?! Makes the mode broken, especially with the thruster upgrades

  6. Forge has so much potential, but everything looks like megablocks

  7. Theatre

  8. Warzone Teamplay skill level gap

  9. WZFF almost everything about it is broken.

  10. Did I mention small Arena maps?

  11. Not an ounce of originality in any of the maps we’ve seen post launch save for Torque and Tidal.

  12. 7 months for Infection

  13. Infection has human weapon pickup?! (Never existed in infection MM before Halo 5)

  14. Infected can’t sprint (ties into human weapon pickup)

  15. Infection radar?

  16. Sniper glare (Snipers are supposed to be unnoticable until they shoot)

  17. Warden Eternal

  18. Promethians

  19. Grunt Mech

  20. Random server disconnects (It’s been confirmed that it’s Halo 5 not me as I live in the US)

  21. Teamkilling in Warzone/Assault/Firefight?

the game is functioning as is was designed, Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it broken. But for the record. I do despise Spartan Charge. The rest are not an issue for me.

I have been playing since launch, the only issue I have come across with spawns has been swat and I have played Slayer, Arena, Swat, And Warzone. and WZFF( somewhat of a problem in WZFF). but even in Swat and WZFF that has not made me want to stop playing the game, But your experience may be different So This may be considered a fair complaint, but again . It would not be considered broken.

again This may be related to where you live, you did not state the country so hard to say. I had problems on boot up , but that seems to be gone now

This is a joke right? H5 has the best weapon balance of any of the Halo games Period. Don’t believe me? Go create a thread about just weapon balance and see what answers you get. Just because you are getting killed and or can not get a kill does not mean there is a problem with weapon balance. I strongly suggest, you learn where the more powerful weapons are on the maps. They would greatly help you.

    trusters are not hard to learn how to use.

    I can somewhat agree. the problem is mostly matchmaking. So i’ll give you this. But in my experience lately It appears at least for me that it has gotten better as I have had some very close games.

9) WZFF almost everything about it is broken.

I’ll somewhat concede this one. This biggest issues for me are spawn locations, Time to spawn and unbeatable scenarios.

On 16, Lens glare and bullet trails/traces are about the only way of knowing where a Sniper is. You take a shot, make it count, then move. Is it suppose to be easy is for you? Should try Battlefield with the added effect of bullet drop, granted more places for a Sniper/Recon user to hide on those maps.

The op is the type whose parents couldn’t put any presents under the Christmas tree because he wouldn’t be patient enough to wait… he would be begging to be told what they where and if they didn’t say he would just rip them open. Isn’t telling us another update us coming that is going to have an action sack playlist added enough? Why isn’t it? What do you want daily updates on exactly what every on at 343 did that day?

You keep saying the term, “but it dosn’t make the game broken” how meny times must you say that before the game is actually broken?

Sure on there own these issues may not brake the game, but when put together I can safely say that’s a pretty dang broken game.

Broken was MCC at its launch. Broken was Battlefield 4 at launch. Its obvious, OP and you don’t like many aspects of the game. But the game plays as it is intended. for the areas I listed. Some things need tweaking (WZFF). But overall the game works and works quite well. While MCC still has issues at least last time I played and I’m 95% sure is still having issues where it is broken such as everybody getting booted back to the menu. That’s broken. While small maps might not be liked(as one example) doesn’t make the game broken unless it kicks you out of the match because of the map. Most of OPs post were complaints are simple complaints about stuff that in no way will be changed-Abilities, maps etc. I’m sorry, OP and possibly you don’t like those and Its cool to complain about it. Your opinion in that regard is as valid as mine. I did all the responses really to make a point. the point being, if you want a complaint to be taken seriously, then, make a valid point about whats wrong and offer a possible solution. Just saying its broken because you don’t like it helps nobody.

Because I couldn’t care less about action sack, I’m personally more interested in the Reqs/Maps/Forge Objects coming in the next update than some, what I assume to be, half-baked broken playlist.

Maybe they jus will add fixes instead new stuff
