Getting closer to UNSC ordnance master. Tips?

So far, I’ve got all my UNSC ordnance mastered except the Railgun, Rockets, and Laser. Dominion seems like a pretty solid choice for getting the Rockets and Laser since they drop from resupplies like crazy, but what about the Railgun? It seems pretty rare in both Big Team and Team Slayer. I use Requisition (Tracker’s perk) and Ordnance Priority to maximize my chances, but it seems like it takes too long. I also like to vote for Longbow and Meltdown since they have Railgun spawns.

So, does anybody have some good tips for getting these weapons? Or more specifically the Railgun?

i completed Forerunner Ordanance, as you can see, but my advice for Railguns, just Infinity Slayer, wait for it in ordanance, best chance

in objective gametypes the railgun spawns on complex like 2-3 times a game.

Saw
Shotgun
Rockets
Sniper
Dominion is the best, but as for the others you struggle with, there isnt an easy way to really get them sorry

Not to mention how bad of a weapon it is. I would say keep doing what you’re doing. Sounds like a good strategy.

I am currently working on the unsc ordnance mastery. I got my railgun kills fairly fast. I vote for maps with railguns. Also, something that should help out a lot. When you get the railgun, make sure you have the amo perk with your loadout. This will give you 2 extra amo. Other than that, make sure you make a beeline for the railguns that spawn at the beginning or later in the game.

it is called fiesta and rocket s. play action sack. with this loadout-

jet pack
requisition
dexterity

use that and bam get the rest mastered.

I got rail gun on doubles but now you could do it really quick in rockets and rails on fiesta. spartan laser dominion or btb ragnorok

Rockets and Rails in Action sack!! Get a party of three or four and have them vote Rockets and Rails. You’ll get Railgun maxed out sooo fast! As for Splaser, I got mine maxed out in Fiesta. Use the ability that you can switch your ordinance (requisition I think). A lot of people didn’t know but you can switch your choices in Fiesta haha, even less randomness.

Other than that, make sure you make a beeline for the railguns that spawn at the beginning or later in the game. You can hit the player once taking out his shields, then shoot him with the railgun. Your just about guaranteed a kill that way. I don’t do that always, only to the nOobs…

I have a question. Do railgun kills count on costume slayer???

Depends on which costume you’re wearing.

Rockets N’ Rails, and Fiesta…go play Team Action Sack for awhile…nuff said.

Play Action Sack for Rocket Launcher and Railgun kills. There’s a Slayer variant where you only have those two weapons.

railgun - play infinity slayer (small team) have ordinance priority and tracker bonus.

Splaser and Rocket - play dominion (three bases spawn 3 ordinances every 40 ish second - a high chance of completing it)

Lastly stick to it.

Why did I just advise a player in how to get a commendation when he’s already got it.

this is why bumping is bad.

Team Doubles has a railgun on just about every map. It might even be on every map.

EDIT: LOL I didn’t notice this thread was three months old.

If it helps, I maxed out my Banshee destroyer on Ragnarok using the splazer in the middle of the map and am now on mastery for this weapon, I’m not actively trying to get UNSC ordnance mastered but there’s my advice.
