I just wanted to get this off my chest. Recently I’ve been in playing firefight while watching the halo championship finals. While playing, I suddenly get booted. The person who I think had booted me did so because he thought I was the one who ran him over in a vehicle and “steal” his grav hammer. Note that I hadn’t been in a vehicle that game. Just a little disheartening tale. Is there a way to boot people out of games/matches?
The only way to actually boot somebody from a game is if they had enough team kills. It happens in grifball all the time.
Well you can’t just kick people. One would have to team kill to actually get booted. There is no other way to get booted by a player.
this same thing happened to me, i hadnt betrayed anyone, my connection that day was surprisingly smooth even for my standards and then all of a sudden…BAM…i kicked for seemingly no reason.
Sound like a connection issue. To get booted you meet actually betray, twice.

Depending on the kindness of the player
For a player to boot you you must have betrayed them a few times. If what you have said is true there is no possible way anyone could have kicked you. It was probably just bad connection.
To get booted, you have to be suspected to teamkill I think 3 times or over. To me, it sounds more like a connection problem you’re experiencing.
If you were watching the finals, perhaps you were inactive for too long and got booted for inactivity?
