Getting battle rifled....

So this is just something I am hoping will give the 343 personnel some insight for multiplayer and specific steps to help avoid the balancing issues of halo 4 currently. I’m sure everyone can agree the MCC port did not go over well for the MP side. (Halo 2 weapons not doing damage, leading or not, elite models still have larger hitboxes, same with halo 3, halo 4 battle rifles have auto aim from hell, for a few mentions)
Some things that need to be focused on in the MP side for halo 5 is balancing. Halo 4 really almost has it right, really, severely reducing the auto aim on the battle rifle and making it a standard 5 shots to kill would be perfect to reduce both its spam and it being overpowered. Also, do not give players a shotgun to start. The spam/abuse of the BR/boltshot starts are out of hand in halo 4.
Autoaim really got its grip on the halo series in halo 2, it needs to be toned down. I watch dozens of killcam replays when I play and many times up to half the opponents shots/punches missed yet i still got killed. It also needs to be mentioned about the reticle, yes it was a big discussion when it changed and it should be as it is still not correct. Anyone who has experience knows that where a rifle is pointed is where the bullet will go. There isn’t a magic circle that the bullet lands in that gets wider as the gun fires more. Recoil needs to be implemented. When the gun fires, it will recoil, changing the location of the reticle, where it now aims is where the bullet will go, it isn’t just random.
Less power weapons is a must. They either make it so only mongooses are in use or one team crushes the other with a score of at least 2 to 1.
Feel free to add any other suggestions. Really, if those corrections were made halo 4 would be spot on.

In retrospect, it’s a wonder the series survived Halo 2.

I couldn’t agree more
