There has been something wrong with my internet for about a week now (it’s supposed to be getting fixed today they are sending someone out) but it causes me to get the “starting game” screen mid game every 3 or so games and then the game ends with me as the only player and it says “Player has been temporarily banned from playing matchmaking on Xbox LIVE due to quitting.”
I’m not quitting though is there anyway to prevent this? I’m tired of playing 2 games, not being able to play for 30 minutes then playing 2 games and so on and so forth 
This is kind of ruining my MM experience.
You are ruining others MM experience, which is why you are getting quit banned.
Hold off on MM until your Internet is fixed.
Yeah I’m real sure I’m “ruining” everyone elses experience. I’m first or second in every single game I play. Typically speaking my self or my friend Spartan GL are the only reason our teams win. I sincerely doubt anyone considers losing your best player 2 minutes before the game is over after hes grabbed you a 20 point lead a “ruined experience”
Besides not my point, I’m simply asking if there is a way to avoid being punished for something I’m not doing. Banning anyone who drops out of a game for anything seems a little indiscriminate.

No. You did not finish the game, therefore it is a “quit”. Quit too many times and you get QUIT BANNED and put on temporary probation.
And it has nothing to do with your skill, you left the game which means your teammates are down a player, and the opposing team has 1 less person to look for. Thus hurting both sides.

You know honestly if you didn’t feel like answering my question which was “Is there anything you can do about this?” then piss off. I’m not really sure what part of your brain thinks I want to hear your sarcastic douschbag attitude but you’re wrong.
A player should not be punished when something outside of their control forces them to end a game early and we’re not talking about “too many times” we’re talking about I get banned the very first time it happened and every single time since. Whether those incidents are 24 hours apart, 2 hours apart, or 2 weeks apart.
So again, if you don’t have any helpful information keep your opinion to your self. You weren’t forced to read this or respond to it. I obviously didn’t post here to listen to people be a jerk.
And as an aside if your logic is right and 343’s policy is to treat any instance in which a player doesn’t finish a game as an “intentional” quit punishable by banning then the only thing I have to say to that is what I said already, that is indiscriminate and stupid.
