There’s no rank, there’s no competitiveness, most social playlists are horrid and if I’m not having fun I’m gonna quit. There’s no reason I should be banned as their is no weight to the match it doesn’t matter. CSGO doesn’t do this, League doesn’t do this, Overwatch doesn’t do this. Halo 5 is the pinnacle of garbage ideas.

Quitters have a negative effect on a game, no matter if it’s competitive or not. ! I support banning all quitters no matter what the play list.

I have been banned for 3 days (happened 20 min ago) and yes if you look at my record I have several DNFs, but recently the game says that I disconnected from the server blah blah blah, and I want to know if is it my internet or is the company a bunch for -Yoinks!- and ban people for no reason. Hope someone can help. Also if there is a way to shorten your ban please let me know. Thanks!

As someone who plays a lot of Grifball, no. Quitters should get banned regardless of what mode they play. It’s no different from how Bungie treated it and it shouldnt be different here.

Unexpected things could come up you know, people do have lives. If a close relative is in the hospital and they asked for you and let’s say you are in the start of a diamond match in team arena are you gonna wait for the match to be over and risk that person dying or something? Or will you drop things and prioritize? Of course dying is a very exaggerated situation but if can happen, do you deserve the ban? No, but it’s not like you’ll be listened to and have the ban lifted. But either way people think what they think, do you.

You say that like it’s absolutely the only possible reason people quit and like you know every one who leaves a match quit and couldn’t have been disconnected. I can see that blaming other people seems to be your fall back excuse for losing.

How does the system tell if it is a connection error or a power outage or any number of unforeseen circumstances? What happens when you queue up for BTB and you’re getting nothing but pre-made lobbies of super try-hards and you’re team is getting annihilated? Quitting because you’re getting tired of a flawed matchmaking system is definitely not a negative effect, if anything it is a message to tell the developers to better the game as a result.

It is a simple fact from observation of gameplay… how come is it the majority of players who “disconnect”…aka quit… are always on the losing team or where going negative in a game?
