I finally realized, it’s a bit late to do so but, 343’s banning is out of whack. It’s insane on who it bans and how long.
I was only ever banned twice, that is till today. First time was for leaving the match on required purposes, the second was for idling (once) on again, required purposes (NOT rage, had to do things) first was an hour, second was two. Then this time, I was banned for NO reason.
I was playing a match of Mythic Shotty Snipers. My team had won the match 50-32. Before “Match Won” was even up, I had a “Connection Lost” message pop up and bam, I was banned. No reason. I didn’t betray nor did I suicide at all during the match, I was going 7-9 (admittedly one of my not so good matches) I had no reason to be banned. 343I needs to fix the -Yoink!- banning issues.

I am rather curious, exactly when do we encounter “required purposes” for leaving in the middle of a match? Personally, I have played over 1900 matchmaking games and I have never discovered anything that would “require” me to quit.
Ultimately, your quitting history is cumulative. In the last scenario you described, it sounds like your Internet connection was temporarily unstable. By itself, that certainly wouldn’t earn you a matchmaking ban. But when you combine that disconnection with your previous intentional quitting, and you get banned.
You were banned for the game you quit before you finished your last game.
You must have forgotten you quit the same game mode on guillotine… No worries I dug up the game for you
