Saw Halo Wars for cheap in my local shop and I’m considering it. However, I have an issue with Halo games. They are the only games that I must get all the achievements in (happened by chance in Halo 3 and then I got addicted to hunting down the achievements in ODST and Reach). I know, I know, achievements are meaningless but I’m OCD when it comes to this! I simply can’t have 100% of the achievements in 3, ODST and Reach and less than that in Wars. I would rather not even begin the game in that case and avoid all the sleepless nights and stress trying to get those darn achievements!
So, having said all that, is it feasible that one could still get all the achievements in this game nowadays? No doubt there are some really tricky online ones and the online population has probably greatly diminished by now.
P.S I don’t want to boost them, I’d like to get them all legit! Some advice/information on this would be appreciated
well, i dont own the add-ons, but all other achievements were pretty easy… guess the biggest problem is to get the general major rank, wich is basically just a question of time.

You should be able to get all of them, I mean i have them. There are 2 peices of DLC which have achievements but most of the acheivements can be done against the A.I or in randoms. the campaign achievements are easy (The hardest one is possibly takeing down the scarrab without destroying the nodes but there a way around that. Play Co-Op and have both players Mac it untill it dies) Gettint the achievement for General will take around 6 months of 3v3 randoms but it’s not hard per say.
I got Never Leave a Man Behind (Finished with 5000 net resources tributed to your teammates on Memorial Basin except in Deathmatch.) from a 3v3 random teams as Forge On Frozen valley, though i’m not sure if that was a glitch.
You could get all of the achievements without boosting. But becoming a general may take way too much time to get without boosting. Thats the only achievement that would give you real trouble.
Also I know how you feel about being OCD with achievements. Im in the same boat as you.
Yeah, there are certain games where i feel disappointed if i don’t have 100% achievements not many. but there are some, games which i really really like playing and have to show that but getting all the achievements from them.
You’ll easily be able to get all of the achievements except one - reaching the rank of General. Not because it’s difficult, but because it’s very time consuming.
It’s the only achievement I need out of all the halo games.

Actually, you don’t need 2.4 mil anymore. There was a rank cap to 960,000 points back in December of '09, so it’s ridiculously easy nowadays. I had a friend get Gen on a second account in 3 weeks.
Just play a couple of hours a day and you’ll have General by the end of the summer.
Thats mine at any rate and those are like 60% 3v3 randoms, getting general took from, 11/09/2009 was my first match until 01/02/2010 so just Shy of 5 months and I wasn’t playing all that regularly in a typical week i’d play maybe 5 or 6 matches mostly 3v3’s.
And McHumpy what gametype you searching for? is standards or team standards then it is likely your internet being derp. Do you have resticted NAT settings on your router? As I always find a game within 2 minuits of starting searching. Gametype dependent.
