Make the party leader search for a game in the ranked playlist.
Have the party leader back out while you are searching for a game.
Make the old party leader create a custom game and invite you.
Join the game and win then rank up. You can also change the score limit to 1 and stuff.

no, don’t be such an idiot. This doesn’t warrant a ban as the whole MM system is currently bugged to hell, this can happen on accident. I’ve been placed in ranked custom games from mm.

Yeah, hate to say it but unless they actually fix everything first there is no reason to ban people. Its just more likely that rank is going to be reset whenever they roll out patches
343 already stated once Matchmaking is fixed, ranking will be reset. Don’t get too excited.

Not sure if it’s just me but when i i join a game in mm i disconnect my internet from the router and plug it back in and when i go back to the main menu i rank up. ;p
Disconnecting internet from router = win. 
i just unlocked the achivement win 10 matches in a row. lol
